Couldn't help but be reminded of Patrick Harford talking about picking gold nuggets off the ground at that now long forgotten Indonesian Derewo River project. Like everything else ECR touched in those days, a complete bust. Craig needs to be more cautious with his language. Let the 'drill results' do the talking...

I saw this on another thread, the link works:Government Petition to Ban shorting of London AIM stocks.The AIM stock market is where smaller companies list their shares rather than using the prohibitively expensive main London Stock Market. This is an important market for the growth of smaller UK companies.In challenging times, shorters seek to borrow the company's shares from a holder for a consideration and to buy them at a later date. They immediately sell these shares which, due to the relative illiquid market, sends the price much lower and hence the shorters can buy them at that lower price - pocketing the difference. The only beneficiaries are the shorters and the market makers with the losers being the reputable company and it's bona fide investors.

So... not the actual Creswick results. "...has slowed the processing time from the original one week turnaround to a slower process extending between 2 and 4 weeks depending on the sample process...." business as usual then...

Glad to see the new appointment. His cv looks very good. Not happy to see plans to look for further acquisitions. Fine, if they cost very little, but not fine if they detract from the pursuit of value for investors from existing assets first. Please Craig, don’t become a Neil Ritson!

Craig Brown has shown himself to be very talented at 'talking the talk' over the last 2+ years, but delivery 'walking the walk' has been all but non-existant. This time will be different... Rodney :o) I don't think punters will fall for that again, too many have lost money and too much bucket-shop dilution. So Craig needs to deliver and in a timely manner. He needs to publish real results for Victoria and they need to be good. Everything else, including ambitions for Western Australia in 2020, is just froth at this point in time...

Okay, second tree shake in a week and there's a new director appointed with an expertise in Australian geology (as well as Argentinian and Philippines experience).

Hmmm...my guess is that someone wants these shares. Coupled also with the impending results from the recent drilling leads me to think that some very positive news is around the corner.

After all, you don't appoint a new non-exec director on the back of not finding much.
