African oil corps purchase 20% of of eco for 29p a share back in nov 17, premium of 30% at the time.I think the Guyana block will be a goldmine for eco, total will farm in and if successful find one can speculate total will fully buy us out..

Well all i know, Namibia is a sideshow, when the rig turns up in Guyana, Late this
year, early next (does not matter..) this will be the biggest show on the AIM oil
market for many years, everyone will want a slice, Hold/accumulate on dips

Hi mr hangman,

I reckon Guyana drilling will be H2/18, and possibly late Q3/18 based on how Tullow just get on with it.

The AOC deal is of interest. I don't think we'll go a whole year before anything is announced from that new partnership. As a guess, I believe that there'll be something announced in Q2/18 or Q3/18.

Tullow says “plans to drill the Cormorant prospect on the PEL37 licence in Namibia in the second half of 2018 and preparations for drilling are under way. The prospect will target light oil and has a number of similarly-sized follow-up prospects in close proximity. Also in Namibia, Tullow completed a farm-down of the PEL30 licence to ONGC Videsh of 15% in November 2017.”

So Osprey on the Cooper block PEL30 won't be this year.

From Tullow's operation statement issued today:

"Processing of 6,500 sq km of 3D seismic data acquired during 2017 on the Kanuku and Orinduik licences in Guyana is ongoing to mature and rank identified prospects. Preparations are under way to commence drilling in early 2019, although options to bring drilling forward into late 2018 are being considered."

This is way too cheap at the moment considering the assets, the location and the partners. The low number of shares in issue should give it huge movement, much like JOG had..... The same could happen here very soon.

Perhaps take a look at UOG which is headed up by 2 ex Tullow Oil boys who have actually infact just done there first deal with Tullow Oil - a MAJOR OIL PLAY [BILLIONS OF BARRELS OF OIL POTENTIAL] not a million miles away in Jamaica

Oil minnow Eco Atlantic jumped 4.7p to 31.8p after energy giant ExxonMobil revealed that it hit oil in a neighbouring block off the coast of Guyana for the sixth time.
