Not long before we hear about the Tullow well in Namibia. I still can not get my head around the low valuation, so in for some more in the morning.

Yes Ray, you became an ADVFN member 7 days before me in Dec 1999 (check your profile). I was at E-Trade a while too. Bonkers days were those! Today's action generally is a bit lame in comparison although it's only a matter of time before purchasing of Sunseeker boats start getting a mention on the VRS thread :D

Hi Bones! Do you happen to be from the Etrade days? But if not, well yes, I have a fascination with oil and oilers. It was with biotecs early on...say 15/20 years ago, but they mainly flatter rather than deliver! :)

Very keen on this one and HUR in particular, with some others making it interesting!

They were all at the Norway presentation which was an institutional event, the Swedish event is a regular retail event

Totally guessing now, but is this the day they intend to announce their acquisitions ?

24th September is starting the week when Tullow will start to have a sniff of whats down there and AEC wants in before the C1 results

Regarding TRP, PEL10 might yet be their saving grace

Obviously AOI behind it all, involving AEC and Eco, something is on the go

They look to be in the throws of making one or two acquisitions in Namibia ahead of the C1 results

I noticed TRP from their recent presentation, have applied to take PEL10 back on

Just for info (those late reports)

They are going through an anonymous system which is generally for the insti side of the market, so for me that adds fuel to the fire of shares being taken off large holders to an existing or new player.

Very interesting article here regarding ECO

Namibia: "At the moment, we are busy looking at least two additional opportunities." The recent interview Gil said they hope to announce an acquisition this month

This is totally consistent with AEC's replies and strategy, who are also looking at new opportunities in Namibia

Both expect the value of the opportunities to increase in value with success at C1 even if just a technical success, hence closing a deal before the results so news will be soon....
