11/9/2018 08:07 | Selling on news they will be sorry. | soulsauce
11/9/2018 07:51 | If you value the potential at just 50c a barrel in the ground that is still over $300m to Eco after the Total deal. And that is where we should be heading imo towards drilling. | soulsauce
11/9/2018 07:43 | I for one wasn't expecting the resource report so soon but I did hear over the weekend that a few were now starting to talk about Eco having spotted the Exxon finds. | superg1
11/9/2018 07:33 | I think you will find that's not the case gozo. It was the prior news that caused the buying, a realisation by some that Eco were very likely to be sitting on substantial oil due to the Hammerhead news. EG I know a few that wouldn't normally touch oil shares (including me) that have bought some ECO shares recently based on the Exxon discoveries and clear indication by the company that it runs onto their lease. Gil also said they were other structures and indicated that the resource report would be out soon. He was clearly confident and it was also clear some may be surprised by the way he was talking. So the news about this was out there and it was up to people to read it, listen to the interviews then check out the detail raised against the actual circs in the area. Those were provided here too. It seemed to me someone or a fund sold a lot of shares into the Exxon news as pointed out by the late reports. Buys were higher than sells and it dropped back into the high 30's. | superg1
11/9/2018 07:30 | very leaky - let's hope it's as leaky out in Guyana! | 2prsimo
11/9/2018 07:26 | We also know that Eco run a leaky ship in terms of RNS's.....worth bearing in mind for the future. | gozo
11/9/2018 07:19 | Not being the oily type have I read that correctly. It looks like a lot of oil potential. | superg1
11/9/2018 07:15 | Awesome figures. Co very bullish. Rise will go on. | pauliewonder
10/9/2018 20:50 | £2+ when the rig arrives in town, you heard it here first | mr hangman
10/9/2018 20:26 | Extrader Debt levels at Tullow is probably the main reason for its lethargy. Any equity value derived from discoveries etc is simply eaten away by the debt pile. Same with PMO and ENQ. They are indeed elephants with elephants on their backs | gersemi
10/9/2018 20:18 | Hi all, Faintly surprised no apparent read-across reaction over at TLW to Hammerhead, considering that they have 60%..... Or is it just a case of 'elephants don't gallop' ? ATB | extrader

10/9/2018 20:06 | The current African Oil presentation (page 10) shows a potential drilling programme of its various interests, including ECO. Eco’s Namibia block (not specified) looks likely to be drilled before Orinduik. hxxp://www.africaoil Ps how do you make a link live in this comment box. | davwal
10/9/2018 19:36 | The SEPT presentation was released last week | thelung
10/9/2018 19:25 | Futher I don't recall seeing this page before, it has Hammerhead on its must be recent and you can see it is right next to ECO. The image also seems to show the number of structures they are going on about. | superg1
10/9/2018 19:04 | sg1 cheers fella - | gersemi
10/9/2018 18:58 | Gersemi Hammerhead is just a few km East of the ECO lease. Gil in interviews has said they have £D data which runs onto the Hammerhead area (Vox interview) having gained permission form Exxon. From that they can see the channels run onto their acreage but that there are also other structures they can see. They fact the Hammerhead channel contains oil significantly increase the chance that the other structures they can see also contain oil. It's an interesting interview and explains the 'luck' they seem to be having. | superg1
10/9/2018 18:42 | 'Maturing Tertiary Canyon Play in East Orinduik – Evaluation ongoing to mature leads' from their 2017 presnetation - way too exciting | gersemi
10/9/2018 18:37 | Does this cover our acreage? An amateur O & G investor so wondering if anyone with informed knowledge could provide a degree of illumination “The significance of Hammerhead is that it opens a new play in sandstone reservoirs of Tertiary age, younger and distinct from the previously successful Cretaceous aged reservoirs in the Liza sandstone play and Ranger carbonate plays. “The new Tertiary play opens the pathway for the emergence of a possible 10 billion barrel plus province, second only in its scale as a new emerging province this century to the Pre-Salt of Brazil,” Westwood added. | gersemi
10/9/2018 18:20 | Been trying to buy size today but nothing available. Tried to buy 60k shares but no quote. The CPR and the Total option trigger to come | gersemi
