Sintana just released their latest presentation: brand new slide about their PEL 79 which is contiguous to ECO's Block 1.
Think of Mopane holding 10BOIP, then look at their targets. Could these continue onto Block 1?

The wells being drilled by the Santorini by Galp/Sintana have taken about 40 days including a mini DST's. |

Hopes for ECO at the moment lie with te drill about to start by Rhino using the Noble Venturer on PEL 85 as this may have positive implications for Block 1. |
I can say after doing this for a long long time, you rarely get new basin play openings - and rarely ever have minnows involved.Total and partners will be using an AVO driven target approach which, atm, is leading to all the discoveries in Namibia - circa 85% drill success rate in exploration. Mopane is undergoing a seismic survey and is likely the 'Greater Mopane' by the Ramiform Hyperion. It is covering a massive area on behalf of Galp; I suspect this will need to be used to help with unitization, as I think Mopane will cover several blocks.
TTE is also carrying out an HD seismic survey using the Argeo Venturer.
