Well..... the alternative is to stay as we are!! Hence agreeing with your campaign.

dixi- what alternative??

DMA would operate along side market makers -not instead of them!

This will increase competition.

Will do so - it seems like the right direction, although I have had reservations the alternative is not great!

Credit to you for all your hard work with the campaign.

Malkie - just got this in my email - part of a longer article, it is by the author of RHPS - this normally resides in my spam, but thought you may approve!!

Excerpt follows:

How you can vote against sky-high dealing spreads

Now I have come across an initiative to tackle this problem and you can find it on www.killthespread.com. The idea behind this campaign is that AIM should move away from a trading system that relies on market makers to one that gives potential buyers and sellers direct access to the market.

This already happens in Canada and Australia, where shareholders can indicate their desired trades and then transact business directly with one another. At the very least this reduces the cost of the market-makers' dealing spread. It can also ensure that share prices are determined by knowing buyers and sellers rather than arbitrary mark-ups and mark-downs by the market- makers. Such a system would help both investors and AIM-listed companies. And it might do something to stem the exodus from AIM – something that is far more pertinent today than any of the LSE's ambitions to expand the market yet further.

I have signed up to the www.killthespread.com campaign and if you are interested in dealing in small company shares at a fair price then I suggest that you do the same.

skinyjeans - could you please elaborate on your concerns - we know about the dodgy links on the site and low stock on certain items - is this the centre of your concern or does it run deeper than that. I see no reason for you not to speak freely - it is your right to do so, assuming that you don't make it up!

Malkie

I am ex, but not aggreived!

I did not spend my time working so hard for it to come to this. I am proud of my past acheivments as they are a representation of myself.

I am definately a concerned ex! in both ways

Malkie you are way way off the mark, just guessing i presume, you must be assuming any aggreived shareholder posting on here (of which I am one) is the same person. Get your facts right before ranting

skinnyjeans - what do you see as being the cause of your comment - is it a case of working hard for their in-house brands at wholesale level and not being bothered enough about web sales?

"I am concerned as all my hard work in bringing ebtm into some resemblence of a music inspired fashion site with its product offer is being undone, by what seems to be a lack of regard for the site, and its customers."

This is a forum for investors. My mind is at ease.

There are clearly lots of things wrong with the company, but you really need to be up front as to exactly why you all of a sudden turn up on 7th of October to monitor this thread.

Malkie - you may see it that way - but I am able to make my own descision - I do have an interest in how the thread pans out and the relevance of the contributors.

To that end skinnyjeans - have you not aired your concerns with EBTM if you know them?

If so how have they responded?

(malkie let this one go - it could be interesting).
