14/10/2009 15:15 | happy days - needed some patience while it was bubbling around under 30, but its come good now. | melody9999
14/10/2009 14:53 | Canadians still hungry for this one today, good volume and +8% so far.... dyor etc. | energiser01
14/10/2009 09:09 | balcony, yes...it is a good sign when the Canadians are buying on the back of rising commodity demand and we are not dependent on the good (or bad)will of UK MMs, other than for setting the spread. | leedskier
14/10/2009 08:10 | This BB is still very quite always a good sign | balcony
13/10/2009 23:59 | Up over 11% in Canada on v.good volume. Platinum still rising...... | energiser01
13/10/2009 14:44 | I think we can expect those in the know to be buying ahead of the 12th Nov results, which I suspect will be better than expectations, given the boost the PGM and chromite extracts from the tailings could make - from the interim statement on 7th. This quarter also marked the first full quarter of production from the tailings remining section which extracts PGMs and chromite from previously placed tailings. "After a disruptive period in July and early August at CRM, we have recovered extremely well, the extensive on and off reef development carried out during the last year having positioned the mine well for both the short term production ramp up back to Q2 levels, and for the ongoing production build up at the mine," stated Ian Rozier. Third quarter financial results and conference call Eastplats is scheduled to release its full third quarter results on Thursday November 12, 2009 and host a telephone conference call on the same day at 11:00 a.m. Pacific (2:00 p.m. Eastern) to discuss these results. The conference call may be accessed by dialing 1-800-319-4610 in Canada and the United States, or 1-604-638-5340 internationally. All we need now is some bid interest from India/China to really get this moving........ DYOR etc.... | energiser01
13/10/2009 13:40 | looks like breakout above previous recent top at 38p now. Driven by platinum price - would be good to see more volume. | melody9999
12/10/2009 14:51 | 1yr chart not too shabby-looking: | doobydave
11/10/2009 19:43 | 4th most traded share on the TSX on Friday. | leedskier

06/10/2009 15:56 | I think we might have liftoff soon | balcony
05/10/2009 22:17 | good spot laserddisc - values ELR at 72p based on production (40p) AND development of attributable reserves (32p) | melody9999
02/10/2009 13:28 | update article on the edison site | laserdisc
25/9/2009 23:37 | agreed cecky - waiting for the breakout here. Just need something to kick the share price into life. Compare the longer term chart here with SKR. Patience will be rewarded. | melody9999
23/9/2009 15:32 | not much happening here today? | ceckyspunt
22/9/2009 20:00 | pop some in your ISA cecky - we're gathereing strength at last. | gozo
22/9/2009 18:33 | clearly 2008 was a bad year for ELR, but PGM prices are significantly up and rising but the ELR share price does not appear to have responded yet! any comments from the residents here? | ceckyspunt
22/9/2009 18:25 | im impressed! under the radar yet looks like a good little company... i will watch this from now on. | ceckyspunt
18/9/2009 21:20 | I won't complain if you're right Sq1. Still hold a few of these. What would really please is a significant rise in the Rhodium price, which comprises 8% of virtually all of the UG2 reef and (usually) a proportionately greater % of income, sometimes far greater: | doobydave
18/9/2009 21:08 | Looks very cheap compared to many other miners whose prices have recovered significantly. I reckon we see 50p soonish or it will become a target. | square1
18/9/2009 15:37 | failed to break out this time - but this one will come back as ELR production increases and price of platinum increases. | melody9999
05/9/2009 08:22 | Had a nibble here yesterday. I think this has sat around 30p ish for too long and is due a move - especially as platinum price recovers. Nice to be able to put it in my ISA - and also no 0.5% duty which was an added bonus. From last quarterlies "CRM (Crocodile River Mine) is performing well and the second quarter results reflect the successful implementation of changes made to our mining plan at the start of the year. During a very volatile period of metal prices and exchange rates, we have achieved a good operating performance and have established ourselves as one of the lowest cost producers in the PGM sector. We will continue to focus on safety, on lowering our cost profile even further, and on preserving our cash balances. We are progressing with planning for our other projects so that we are ready to deliver when PGM prices improve," said Ian Rozier. All sounds pretty positive to me. | melody9999 |
