 I'm holding until the price hopefully reaches 3p where I would still make an acceptable loss. This is another pr gaffe by Alex where the rns does not tie in with his narrative from even a couple of weeks ago.
Yes we knew that less than 1000m had been drilled but what was done is of a peripheral nature only. It may have been due to the drilling window but it also reeks of a lack of confidence in what could be found otherwise why not just get to the meaty bits.
By the time we get the full assayed results it is going to be over a year since we had the good news about Verkhuba and the spiel about selling/JV and yet things are still in limbo as investors still have no clarity over what is gong to happen - sale,JV,go alone?
Alex should have never done that presentation at the start of the month so that everything could have been done now as he would have had a little more clarity to show and could give a better talk on what the results mean in a bit more detail over how it firmed up expectations re the lenses - which hopefully comes to fruition otherwise there will be more share price anguish. |
Another fine mess from Alex, you lot should seriously consider whether it makes sense to back this loser and to keep backing Alex with his overly positive stories, dilution and share performance options. Thankful I moved on. |

All the results did was to be non negative only. They are not conclusive and there is still 3000+ metres to drill and as stated by Alex "It is important to note that the three drill holes completed were not targeting the thickest, shallowest or highest‐grade portions of the resource" so still lots to do.
Market is distinctly unimpressed with the lack of anything really positive. |

The update doesn't tell us much at all. Yes there is still the potential but as Alex pointed out "It is important to note that the three drill holes completed were not targeting the thickest, shallowest or highest‐grade portions of the resource and so we look forward to getting the drill rig turning again in Q2 2025."
So all it means is that it appears more probable than before that the lenses do extend but further drilling is still required to as Alex states "potentially grow the resource and improve the economics".
Drilling starts in Q2 meaning the definitive results including assays won't be available until mid Q3 at the earliest. All of this should have been done last year but was delayed by the expectations of selling/JV which never happened pushing the company to do this drilling which maybe they should have realised at a much earlier stage would be necessary.
The presentation states that the "Potential massive sulphide source remains undiscovered" so what drilling are they going to do to get an answer. This is important as last year is was made quite clear by Alex that the company considered this to be important as it would have a material impact on the Verkhuba valuation so until this is confirmed one way or the other it seems hard to expect any deal being finalised until this happens. |

This is another perma-explorer with a defined annual pattern now. Buy post placing, let them drill and hype up the prospects, sell before May, watch share price collapse when drilling is always delayed and results underwhelm or sale doesn't happen, then just wait for the next 1p placing. So just treat it as a mechanical trade and not fall in love with the story. |
