The Board don't seem to be rushing themselves with the tender given the CitySprint cash of £1.5m are the only outstanding proceeds (given they have stated they intend to hold back the full £12m of contractual commitments). Is that just a leisurely approach or that more news due?

Lucky you. I only seem to have got a lower % tendered, but maybe I will check again tomorrow as I seem to remember that the excess can be dealt with separately sometimes.

Dunedin Enterprise Inv Trust PLC Q3 Preliminary NAV and Tender Offer Price



The Board of Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce a preliminary unaudited net asset value of 393.1p per share as at 30 September 2020.

In accordance with the terms of the Tender Offer, the Tender Offer Price and the Basic Entitlement of shareholders under the Tender Offer has been calculated on the basis of the 30 September 2020 net asset value and are as follows.

-- Tender Offer Price - 384.8400p per share
-- Basic Entitlement - 12.3225 per cent.

I've tendered all of mine and hoping to exit and move on. Made a reasonable profit in this trust. Exit has been a tad drawn out, so hoping to draw a line under this while the going is good!

Hawksford partial realisation - The investment in Hawksford was valued at GBP6.9m at 30 June 2020. Proceeds to Dunedin Enterprise from the proposed transaction will amount to GBP6.9m, consisting of capital of GBP6.3m and income of GBP0.6m.

Proceeds are dependent upon regulatory approval being received which is expected to take around six months.

BT - Well done, good timing. They were 230p-248p first up; a crazy spread, though not as bad as the headline.

Yes, back in a couple of weeks ago at an average of 249.5p. I just assume there should be a good capital redemption quite soon; and the discount makes it not a no-brainer exactly, but for sure a good Risk/Reward play

30th June NAV effectively unchanged since March @ 379.8p

"The finalised net asset value per share will be published on 21 September 2020 at which time the Board intend to give a further update with regards to a return of capital."

Why do they sit on shareholders' cash for month after month rather than paying it out as planned. Presumably because their fees are based upon the Total Assets being mis-managed!

5. Cash and Commitments:

Dunedin Enterprise had cash and near cash balances of GBP 12.3 m at 31 March 2020. Following the quarter end a distribution of GBP13.8m was received from Dunedin Buyout Fund III LP representing the proceeds from the sale of Kingsbridge which completed in April 2020 and a recapitalisation of FRA in February 2020. Following this receipt total cash and near cash balances were GBP26.1m.

Outstanding capital commitments to limited partnership funds are GBP 22.2 m. It is expected that GBP 12.2 m of the total outstanding commitments will ultimately be drawn over the remaining life of the funds.

We are currently negotiating an extension of the GBP5m banking facility with Lloyds Bank for a further year to 31 May 2021. In due course we will be advising shareholders of a further return of capital.
