The Government will provide clarity tomorrow so get ready as this maybe a Dead Cat Bounce. Too Risky as more falls in the pipeline. 600 or less is my support level. So be Patient… |
Halfpenny get real how much tax do you think they are likely to pay dream on pal |

Citi group agree with me. Further fall and it may even overshoot closer to 500. Too risky at these levels. So its a gamble Heads you Lose and Tails you Lose!! |
As i said before less than 600 and below 580. Be patient and wait for further falls soon. |
Bought another chunk |
Windfall plus a lesser effect from broker downgrade by citigroup to sell with price target 591 from 651 - edit - which it seems was due to their take on the windfall and it's effect on DRX |

You gotta larf |
Windfall tax possibilities diabolical |
10bn windfall tax allegedly, all energy companies are down imho dyor |
Does anyone know why the drop?? |
back over £8 halfpenny |
Margins fall? Are the new contracts being signed at much higher prices? I can’t see you getting them but what do I know |
Drax correcting expect testing 700 then 600 support level as inflation hits and margins fall. With short week many will take profits and wait. Too high and risky at these level but I will consider bellow 600 say 580. Be Patient as correction kicks in. |
800 breached will it hold ? |
800 coming? Very soon |
771p up 8.5% today
This company is delivering |

I think its an improving picture on pricing going forward as the old deals end |
Thanks, talk today in the news of extending the remaining coal fired capacity to help with energy security. https://www.independent.co.uk/climate-change/news/coal-power-ukraine-russia-environment-b2035430.html |
It does if you read the rns before Xmas trading statement it talks about them, might keep them running longer but if we want to stop using gas certainly at power generation level drax will have a part to play |
Does Drax still have any coal fired units or have all been converted to biomass ? |
All the worry about the "renewable" status of cutting down forests, transporting by ship to burn in Yorkshire is now set aside for years to come as Drax provides an independent energy supply. |
Gas price and possibility of reduced availability benefits those generating electricity by other means. For us Drax investors this should be a good thing. Does anyone know how far ahead Drax are tied into supply contracts for? Do they have the contractual option of raising prices in line with current trends or will they be currently tied into whatever supply contracts they made 6 months ago? |
