Exbroker,
I have emailed Elliot with regard a post NO situation as their role as a significant swing voter is of great importance to whether this bid progresses or not.
I do not expect a reply.

Enoc say that Dragon would benefit from being an intrigal part of ENOC, and yet I question ENOC`s experience in running an upstream oil company.
After the last bid failed, ENOC set up an oil and gas vehicle that they said they would use as an investment vehicle in the oil and gas industry while Dragon would just remain as an investment.
Six years on nothing has been heard of that investment vehicle while Dragon have gone from strength to strength. No surprises then that ENOC have now changed their minds about Dragon and intend to use them to fund their future growth at the expence of minority shareholders.

I've followed this circus since 1996 fido.....ENOC has never done me any favours. The dividend was welcome, but we had to wait for that. What we have lost in share growth, null and voids the divi anyway.

We need a no vote, and the share left alone to grow to it's full potential which is well over £10.

biffbudbert,
ENOC are basicly saying to Dragon shareholders- you lot have done very well out of ENOC`s support for Dragon but now Dragon have gone ex growth, (should read-we want Dragons growth and cash generative potential to fuel ENOC`s growth), so it is time for you lot to get out of the way and let ENOC get on with it.

NO-

What do you mean no, don`t you know who we are.

There now follows a series of threats designed to scare the life out of small shareholders.

All, rather than pay a fair price.

Tombag. I have'nt disclosed whether I have accepted or rejected, therefore, I would'nt be able to express my concern (or not) as to whether the offer will fold. Ask me anything you like...just not subjects that lead to my decision on whether to accept. I want to make sure I remain impartial (to a bunch of strangers, whose financial commitments I know nothing about!) :-p

rosbeg11,
I do not believe it is ENOC`s intention to walk away, but I don`t think ENOC wish to pay fair value either.
If the No`s win the vote on July 30th then the real bargoning gets underway between ENOC and the largest holders with Elliot being the swing voter pushing for a higher price.

atty3 Are you concerned that the 750p bid may fail? If so, why?

With 3 institutions having over 16% ( assuming Elliot are on the no side) and the bid is successfully rejected! Do you think ENOC will abandon the bid, because they have not got their way, and attempt to put manners on the minorities

Vasque. I never started up this post (my first one at 15.13pm) today to discredit/ramp up the offer/co-erce/manipulate/troll. I havent ever given my personal view on 'the offer' because NONE of us are certified to give investment advice. I do think that there is a HUGE amount of 'shoot first, ask questions later'. The constant peppering of links to stories, the pasted emails to institutional investors, the counter offer website, the Twitter feeds. Everyone holds shares for a reason, pension, a quick buck, kids university fees, a Porsche. Noone of us know each others financial situation, so what could be right for me, is not necessarily what could be right for you and vice versa. And I would never critiscise anyones decisions on the acceptance, or not. But it should be a PERSONAL decision, and not one that has any outside influences. I applaud your decision, because it seemed like you made it YOURSELF. Nice one, man.

If my memory serves me correctly, ENOC did not save Dragon at all. Dragon at that time was held by one majority holder who because of a conflict of interest was required to dispose of his Dragon holding. Enoc merely took up that holding at 15p a share and because their holding then went over the 30% level were required to offer the same 15p per share to other holders.
As far as I am aware ENOC have never injected any capital into Dragon and debts were paid off from cashflow.

atty3 - I don't belong to the messiah cult and i certainly haven't been sipping the kool-aid but I feel ENOC are trying to screwed me with my pants on. This will be the second time they've undervalued the share since I've been a holder.

I don't want to sell, I believe we have great long term prospects and i feel ENOC have been bullying us with their "no dividend", "no market in shares" rhetoric.

4jaytee - the fact ENOC made an "intervention" many years ago is irrelevant - does this mean I should sell them my shares for less than fair value?

*sighs* 10 out of 10 for irony again. i have'nt discredited anyone, you however, felt it important to point out I was a new-user, thereby attempting to discredit me. And Biff? I just gave him a quick reality check...we all need one of those every once in a while when we get above our station.

Now back to my other point. You still havent given me proof of "singing the praises of the bid"

You would never guess there was a vote going on would you. So much desperate effort being made in trying to discredit posters.
Very sad but not unexpected I suppose.

Thats the funny thing about us BB users. We were all new posters once. Something else we all have in common, alongside being holders of the same stock as ENOC. Irony again.

Perhaps you can show me where i sang the praises of the offer?

Your illusions of grandoise are so far off the scale that you cant actually believe that there is more than ONE person that has the 'audacity' to not drink from your Koolaid?!?!

Desperate? The only person that reeks of desperation is the man that has to post things every 3 minutes...

Dude. Get overself.

Atty does not sound nearly as desperate as you. Worried about potential capital gains?

atty3,
New poster since June 17th.
4 posts including 2 today, singing the praises of the bid. You sound remarkably like 3D on iii.
You really must be getting desperate now.
