This one has just come onto my radar, not sure what to make of it.

If you look at Global Brands in Switzerland they have totally bombed and are now trying to relaunch yet in the UK Dominoes is unbelievably successful.
=========

the conclusion i get is in the UK people dont care so much about their health and stuff their faces like pigs and they dont really care that they get fat and ugly have huge asses. I think in switzerland people are more health aware but i still think dominoes will do well there but NEVER as well as fatty Britain.

Poland should do well i think again not as well as the UK

I think you have all been too negative with this one.
I don't believe the past history has any bearing on this whatsoever.
You will notice there has been substantial institution buying (Blackrock & Threadneedle) which wouldn't happen if there was any whiff of scandal.
The share price has risen quite sharply (up 15%) today suggesting there is good demand for this company and their business model.

I do find it very curious that there clearly is a backstory to Dominoes in Poland but needless to say no mention of it is made in this new listing.

I can only assume that the previous guys IFFC failed in the market.

Given that this is effectively a startup I will leave well alone.

If I can remember to do so I will have a look in 6 months or so to see how things are going.

Mr hangman .. I was seriously thinking of investing in the company but they have been more than economical with the background of Dominos and the problems Dominos has had in Poland over the last 15 years.

This "oversight" is VERY relevant .. the brand is NOT new and therefore as an investor I will tread carefully .. its not as simple as the prospectus implies ..

also if you read the prospectus and page 20 .. make the connection with my 2 posts above ... interesting ... small circles in fast food .. !

10. LITIGATION:

FuelNation Matter. The Company is a party to the following legal
proceeding: Elpoint Company, LLC and Gennady Yakovlev, vs. Mitchell Rubinson,
Marilyn Rubinson, Edda Rubinson, Nigel Norton, James F. Martin, Leon Blumenthal, Lawrence Rutstein, Shulman & Associates, Inc., Manny Schulman, Franklyn Weichselbaum, James Miranti, International Fast Food Corporation, Domino's Pizza International, Inc., Regenesis Holdings Corporation, United States District Court, Northern District of California (Case No. 99-1107 CRB).

On March 10, 1999, certain shareholders of FuelNation Inc. (f/k/a Regenesis Holdings Corporation ("Regenesis")(f/k/a QPQ Corporation) ("Regenesis") filed a complaint against IFFC and certain of its senior management and principal shareholders, including Mitchell Rubinson, IFFC's Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, and James Martin, IFFC's former President and Chief Financial Officer.

Regenesis formerly held the right to develop Domino's Pizza stores in Poland.
Certain former officers and principal stockholders of Regenesis are officers and principal shareholders of IFFC. The complaint alleges, among other things, that the defendants fraudulently transferred the Domino's development rights to IFFC, thereby causing Regenesis to lose value. Additionally, the complaint alleges that IFFC engaged in the misappropriation of corporate opportunities of
Regenesis. The plantiffs were seeking unspecified monetary damages, including
treble and punitive damages and reasonable costs and attorneys fees. The parties reached a settlement in this matter and IFFC agreed to pay $300,000. Such amount has been accrued in the accompanying consolidated financial statements.

Company Operating 15 Franchises and Plans Further Expansion

International Fast Food Corporation (EBB:IFFC), the exclusive Burger King and Domino's Pizza franchisee in the Republic of Poland, announced today that its number of Domino's Pizza stores in operation has tripled over the last year.

Beginning with a base of five stores, IFFC tripled its business with the opening of ten new locations in 1998. The company now runs a total of 15 Domino's restaurants located in Warsaw and several other cities.

"Since our 1997 acquisition of Krolewska Pizza and Pizza King Polska, we are ahead of schedule for new store openings," said Mitchell Rubinson, Chairman of IFFC. With hopes of becoming the largest pizza delivery company in Poland, IFFC will continue expanding and plans to open more Domino's franchises.

"Poland loves pizza and Domino's Pizza defines what delivered pizza is all about," said Michael Welch, President, IFFC. "Consumers want good food with good service at affordable prices. Together with the Burger King brand, we have brought two incredibly strong fast food concepts that meet this growing demand. We fully intend to maximize the company's market penetration and thereby strengthen our leadership position as a world class fast food company." About IFFC
