18/12/2008 18:58 | Useful trading update and better than expected to be honest. IMO Edmonstone has cost the company time and cash with no real result. However, he's off to rape some other company now. On the basis Edmonstone's efforts are a one off and the ongoing trade is holding up, the Directors should now be buying back these shares at 4p. Come on Rawlinson, get your finger out - You've made one big mistake with Edmonstone, which we could have advised you about. Don't make another obvious mistake by not buying back at these levels. | cammy3

09/12/2008 20:41 | Any thoughts on how the results will look and what is the likely cash position ? My worry is that the dilution and downturn in the markets came at a time when the business was already weakening. I was totally against the hiring of very expensive talent into a downturn and sadly it has really hit DGT. | davidosh
09/12/2008 20:21 | WW With a spread of 33% i agree with you . This really has become a nothing share and looks to me as if they are happy for the drop and soon they will take this private or they will be snapped up at this stupid price.I hope i am wrong and this bounces back on positive news soon . Look on the bright side this has gone down on no volume and will go up on little volume but when???? Any way i will tuck these away and move on. All the best Max | maxharry
09/12/2008 16:10 | Down again and no trades showing so far, ... Don't forget to look at PLUS markets as well as the London Stock Exchange / AIM if you're monitoring this stock's trades! There have been some shares traded on PLUS today - it's showing a volume of 3,333. Gengulphus | gengulphus

05/12/2008 18:16 | Thanks for your explanation, so do you think the company bought them up? Not very likely in my view - if they had, we'd probably have had a buyback announcement by now. Gengulphus | gengulphus
05/12/2008 08:20 | Just had a look at limits for the first time in ages you can, Buy 50,000 @ 4.88p Sell 15,000 @ 4.52p Looking at that i would think that 10k trade was a buy and still the share price drops its madness. ww | whitewestie
04/12/2008 17:22 | Looks like there won't be an "Restructuring" going on with Dowgate. :-0 They, "Restructuring Investors" must have been aggressively selling as they had a very considerable holding; I thought around 10 p.c; they've obviously been oissed off by Dowgates performance and antics of Directors. | lr4850
04/12/2008 14:50 | WhiteWestie. They're clearly matched buy and sell trades. For the two 1m trades, some intermediary will have managed to find both someone wanting to buy 1m shares and someone wanting to sell 1m shares, with a price that was agreeable to both. And as the intermediary's reward for setting up the deal, they took a small margin - buying the shares from the seller for 4.875p each and selling them on to the buyer for 4.91p each about 6 minutes later. That's 0.035p to the intermediary for each of 1m shares, or effectively a £350 payment for putting the deal together. The next three trades look similar, except that the intermediary had to bring two sellers together to satisfy the buyer's order (note that 258,333 + 86,565 is exactly 344,898...). Only a £120.71 payment to the intermediary from setting up the deal that time... Of course, either or both might have commission involved as well. As a general rule, if you see a number of large trades occurring over a short time period without moving the price, always look for how they might be matched up as buys and sells. And ignore the ADVFN "Buy" and "Sell" classifications when doing so - they are not official information about the trades, just rather crude computer guesswork based on the price of the deal. And especially for large matched trades like these, an intermediary setting up a deal will often be satisfied with a very small spread between the buying and selling prices and subject to that (or to being paid a decent commission to do the deal with no spread), just cares that a price that is satisfactory to both buyer and seller can be found. They won't care what the price is beyond that, and so often both buying and selling prices will end up on the same side of the official spread and the crude computer guesswork will classify them as both buys or both sells... 04/12/2008 13:27 | another 350k gone through what the hell is going on? they must be buys or share price would have tanked. Is no one else monitoring the trades? What has happened to Nev he has not posted for months as far as i can remember. | whitewestie
04/12/2008 13:24 | whats going on here is somebody stakebuilding? 2 more trades total of 345k but note no increase in share price | whitewestie
04/12/2008 13:14 | Are the 2 trades for 1 miil buys? as i cannot see them as sells as i would expect the share price to plummet. Maybe its a buy back by the company. | whitewestie
03/12/2008 14:46 | I remember DGT had significant value of warrants in many companies. Have these been cashed in, if so, where is the money? Disappeared into oblivion?? | lr4850
