10/6/2008 13:27 | no one has mentioned that 166,666 buy @ 11.5p first thing this morning and yet the share price still has not moved up they must have got a lot of stock to shift if that buy will not move it approx 5 million in old terms. | whitewestie
07/6/2008 09:06 | See we now have 48 clients. update on site Giving away a 10% dividend. I think not!! | jscapper
04/6/2008 19:49 | Yes, it was so uneventful I'd forgotten we'd had the AGM - duh! Ohmigod - you managed to give them away - I couldn't find any takers :)! | donaferentes
04/6/2008 11:25 | til fat lady sings, As far as I know there was only one retail investor in attendance, and from memory that was davidosh. Perhaps he can confirm? He already has posted about that. There were three independent investors present, but he was the only bulletin board user. Gengulphus | gengulphus
04/6/2008 09:43 | ohmigods dad / finestluxuries, Thought you were still holding? tfls | til fat lady sings
04/6/2008 09:05 | The guy I gave my DGT stock to was moaning this morning so thought I would check in, this price is taking the mick......sorry for you all! | ohmigods dad
03/6/2008 21:02 | donaferentes, I have held this share for more than 5 years, purchased the first batch @ 0.4p then on and upwards over the years in batches on dips but now 5 years later we are sat at a lower share price of 0.35p approx which is lower than my first purchase so i think i have a right to be annoyed with this company as i am sat with losses even on my first purchase when i would expect to be in profit after 5 years of holding. Lots of other people must be sat on large losses as i can remember various posters saying they purchased 500k, 1 mill etc from 0.6 to 1p and beyond they probably thought like i did at the time the company was up and away, BAD MISTAKE. I would have expected a small rated Aim company to have been able to raise its game and share price considerably higher over a 5 year period not lower. Yes they pay a divi but that in no way makes up for the very low share price on your total investment especially if you wanted to sell them. The company has not uttered a word of news since the final results and i doubt if they will until interim results come out, they said they would keep us better informed with PR but that was hot air. Yes there are shares in companies out there making gains for its investors with less risk and most paying divi's than this SMALL AIM COMPANY which has a small market cap and could be taken out by bigger fry or hit hard times and falter. I sold ASC which i bought @ 7.9p now £3.02 to put it in this pile of rubbish which i foolishly thought was a better bet. Thats an example of how a share could perform over 4 years from when i bought. 03/6/2008 15:31 | WW - what can we do - company is trading profitably with expectation of anywhere from 15% to 50% increase in dividend next year - forward div yield of 11.5-15%. Why would I take my money out. When blanket market sentiment against all financials eventually wears out, then we will get re-rated to more realistic levels. Unless you can suggest another share where I should place my funds for quicker gains - yes, I know plenty out there, but all probably riskier than DGT. I don't mind having 10% of my holdings in a well-managed relatively risk-free 10%+ dividend earner currently. | donaferentes
03/6/2008 13:40 | Yield is actually 9% based on the dividend received a few weeks ago along with the interim...whether it will be held at the same level and where the share price goes will of course dictate this years yield | davidosh
03/6/2008 12:41 | Yield nearly 6%, not bad for a penny share. | montyhedge
03/6/2008 12:26 | What the hell has been going on here, i have been away for 10 days and come back to find the share price is down to 10.25p, way way below the consolidation price and only 1 post on the board. Is no one bothered that the price just keeps going down and no news from the company to improve matters. This is now down to about 0.35p in old terms a bloody disgrace, they want to get their fingers out and do something about it. ww | whitewestie
27/5/2008 09:21 | From an RSN for Coffee Heaven announcing raising of £3.5m from institutional placees and major investor William Currie. "Coffeeheaven also announces that it has with immediate effect appointed Shore Capital and Corporate Limited as nominated adviser and Shore Capital Stockbrokers Limited as joint broker to the Company alongside Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers, who continue to be retained as joint broker." Seems a shame DGT coould not raise this fairly modest sum and keep sole brokerage. So no fees for DGT, I assume, since not part of the Placing Agreement. | donaferentes
21/5/2008 14:35 | WW - can you please let me rest in peace! | donaferentes
21/5/2008 13:39 | buy 50k @ 12.7p sell 50k @ 11.28p L2 2 v 4 Dowgate has gone back to sleep again and so has this board, not a post for 6 days. Has no one got anything constructive to say? its just like a morgue on here. | whitewestie
15/5/2008 10:02 | WW, Pure speculation. Jarvis announced that they'd had an approach, but there were no details as to who it had been, and they rejected it outright anyway. They did say, however, that they were reviewing the business, the result of which could include a sale. Nice to see a couple of posts after a week of silence! tfls | til fat lady sings
15/5/2008 09:09 | buy 37.5k @ 12.9p sell 50k @ 11.26p L2 2 V 3 A 50k sell and no movement they seem to be happy to mop this up and with a 15.4% spread on L2 they do not seem to want to do any trading either. What has happened to the buyback has it stalled? Is someone waiting in the wings to mop up all the sells? the price has moved up recently without many trades going through. davidosh whats this possible offer for Jarvis sec all about i have not seen any mention about that unless i have missed it, where did you see that? ww | whitewestie

13/5/2008 22:41 | I think the possible offer for Jarvis Sec got the excitement level up....but still no trades ! | davidosh
13/5/2008 20:23 | I guess no one is interested in trading their positions - neither MMs nor Investors - everyone must be happy to hold and take the 10% dividend. | donaferentes
13/5/2008 19:37 | movement north and no one has anything to say ????? very strange...... Looks like they do not want to create a market with that spread??? All the best Max | maxharry
