DP Inc said last night that the UK was one of its areas that had had a good Q2 |
The share price has gone up substantially over the last couple of weeks.
Its the highest its been for the last 2 years, that's the chart I looked at. So it maybe more.
Possibly the rise in the pound, has helped, as the company has sold off the foreign franchises, or the option on the German business.
The share buy backs also help, but they will not last forever.
So lets hope the management get a better working arrangement with the franchises.
This is a good company, I have held the shares since they entered the market. I have sold some into the high share price, but still have a substantial shareholding.
Good luck to everyone.

what would you say to someone who says: “DOM is flat over 5 years” (?)- Its sales and earnings, startegy, marketing and competetive position are NOT flat over last 5 years, but ALL are significantly higher. Post pandemic DOM has gained on pizza express and pizza HUT, it also has better management, better capital allocation and 40pc more system sales. " The market may ignore bizness success for a while, but eventually will confirm it" |
I wonder why they are having such a high turnover of C.F.O.
Now the sales of the foreign master franchises are done, maybe we get a C.F.O., and keep them.
Finger crossed.

Another CFO leaves |
I'd agree with them. Sadly the old growth story began it's end around five years ago. I also suspect from listening to recent webcasts that the new management doesn't see much hope of resurrecting it to former levels either. |
Happy holder here, but what would you say to someone who says: "DOM is flat over 5 years" (?) |

Peel Hunt expects ‘meaningful’ rerating at Domino’s
Peel Hunt is expecting a ‘meaningful’ rerating at Domino’s Pizza Group (DOM) when the takeaway chain agrees a deal with franchisees.
Analyst Douglas Jack retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 425p on the stock, which closed up 1%, or 3.4p, at 353p on Monday.
Jack is predicting first quarter like-for-like sales to be up 15% with trading ‘comfortably ahead’ of expectations. However, talks with franchisees are what he is keeping an eye on.
The group has had a long-running dispute with its store owners who are demanding it pays out £2m after they were forced to take the hit for fraudulent activity on its websites, dating back to 2018.
‘We believe the cost of a deal with franchisees could be fully recouped by cost savings and incremental system sales growth,’ said Jack.
‘We doubt the first quarter statement will provide an update on franchisee discussions. However, when progress in this area does emerge, it should provide the catalyst for a meaningful rerating.’ |

No idea, when there's a day when there's no buyers then prices can move. Most likely a technical reason rather than any fundamental change in the business outlook |
