For the 28th July AGM Darren Mercer produced a statement that morning which he was insistent he read to those at the meeting. It would not surprise me if there was a statement Friday morning released at 7 am for the meeting at 1 pm.

This is a critical paragraph from their outlook statement issued with the H1 results:

"The progress to date on our partnership with NewNet and Xinhuatong is exceptionally pleasing The extensive and sizeable testing process began in mid-August, initially in two provinces, and, in September, we extended the testing to seven provinces and that testing is now nearly complete. As a result, we are confident that the large e-commerce partners, which have substantial user bases and will assist our sales drive, will come on stream in October and will deliver significant gross sales and revenues from that point onwards. As we embark on the final quarter and into 2017, we will be broadening service offerings on the mobile app and introducing unique content that will drive customer acquisition and enhance customer retention. With increased customer activity on the app, this will, importantly, drive sizeable data acquisition."

Perhaps things are going better than expected?

With respect, I do understand and I am not misunderstood. My point being brokers have a figure for revs of £85.1m a journalist/independent investor has an alleged rev of circ $2m a day. My point being that is a huge difference and you shouldn't post things(ie ayesha 4) that you put across as fact when you don't actually know if it was ever even said in an interview. Yes figures can be demonstrated in many ways, but it depends what figure you start with!

Toyin ; with respect I have been head of a fund raising on the Canadian stock market where 10m was raised and successfully floated so I am being sensible and the figures can be demonstrated in many ways .

Yes I know, I was the one who posted it. My point is people are posting things that haven't come from the company in an official release, and as you know the quote had the words, recently, often and around in it! So in summary we have a quote from somebody who had a meeting with Mr Mercer who allegedly implied the company was recently often turning over around $2m a day. That is totally different to "I can tell you with certainty that revenues are currently approximately $2m per day."

If you read paul ensure report on seeking alpha on DJI from the other week which was posted on here. It states he had a 3 hr meeting with DJI and in his report he says, ". DJI is now trading on a market cap of £308m ($401m) and has recently often been turning over around $2m a day equivalent." Maybe this is were the figure 2mil a day has come from.
Just a thought.

The spectre of returning online lottery sales will now be a substantial added bonus for DJI (BNN).... latest numbers demonstrate the HUGE demand that exists in China:

Mainland China’s total official lottery sales for August were RMB31.01 billion (US$4.7 billion), up 10.4 percent year-on-year, according to official data from the country’s Ministry of Finance.

Welfare lottery sales increased by 5.8 percent, reaching RMB15.9 billion, while sports lottery sales went up 15.7 percent to RMB15.1 billion, the Ministry of Finance announced.

Sales were up – in year-on-year terms – in 26 of the 31 regional level jurisdictions of mainland China where sales of lottery tickets are allowed.

Combined lottery sales in the first eight months of this year amounted to RMB257.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.1 percent.

Welfare lottery sales between January and August increased by 1.0 percent year-on-year to RMB134.8 billion, while sports lottery sales were RMB122.9 billion, up 12.3 percent.

Online sales of mainland China lottery products are currently suspended, a move described by the authorities as temporary but which has hit several companies. In April last year, eight Chinese government agencies confirmed a suspension of what they described as “unauthorised online lottery sales services”.

What do you mean its a great number!!! Why not through 5m or 10m! No lets not mess about, I know with certainty that revenues are currently approximately $20m per day.

This isn't freakin Monopoly, can we please deal with real numbers and have a sensible board!

Don't forget all these apps have raised millions on the potential useage because of how many phones are in use ....

I would suggest the 2m a day is gross revenue & DJI forecast numbers are based on net revenue (net revenue being the % we take as a fee). the positive from Nurdin's comments, if true is that revenues are now starting to roll in..

Nurdin ; thanks for the comments , you see with posts like 2m a day etc being sent out and clearly nothing like that in there forecasts and no mention of this on Friday then that starts to worry me as a long term investor that just perhaps this is a hot air ballon .

That is why I want to hear of a very strong experienced board director being signed to give more cred to the long term .
