15/5/2016 09:00 | Hi doublestexan, good to see you on the DJI BB, if you get a bit of spare time could you please take a look at Forbidden Technologies (FBT) I would be very interested in your opinion regarding Apple making a take over offer for them, they have IP on cloud based video editing software. No one else has been able to replicate so far, they also have apps that would complement any i-pad/i-phone. Thanks in advance, theclangers | theclangers
15/5/2016 04:57 | I invested in Apple years ago and still add to my holdings. The investment of 1B in a ride sharing app seems out of step for them but quite an exciting step to take, and for Apple not a very large amount of money. They will spend approx. 10 billion this fiscal year on R and D. and earned 10B last quarter on sales of around 50B. I believe it will make Apple a great return on it's investment, in many ways. Also, China has a large and growing middle class base that app platforms such as DJI Holdings can serve and grow and prosper from, IMO. I think this is somewhat speculative , but I sure like that management of DJI Holdings hung in there when the going was lean, building relationships and growing in stature , quite impressive contracts and prospects for the future. | doublestexan
14/5/2016 15:06 | Posted on lse bbMeeting Monday16.05.16. First things first. Meeting to authorise the issue the further shares (second part of the placing) on Monday at the brokers premises in London instead of Knutsford. Mercer should be there; I hope the chairman is also present. It will be interesting to see who else. After that two things to come: in no particular order the lifting of the suspension and the Nasdaq listing. A third possibility is whether there will be other deals. | kkrriiss2
13/5/2016 11:08 | I see that Apple has announced that it has invested $1bn in a Chinese app. Apps in China are clearly big business! "Apple has invested $1bn (£693m) in Didi Chuxing, the car-hailing app that has a greater market share than US rival Uber in China. Tim Cook, chief executive, said that the move would help Apple to better understand the Chinese market. Didi Chuxing, previously known as Didi Kuaidi, said it represented the single largest investment in its history. The firm said it provided more than 11 million rides a day and claimed to have 87% of the Chinese market share. The company is also backed by Chinese internet giants Tencent and Alibaba..." | someuwin
13/5/2016 10:10 | I'm a bit late to the party, but I bought a few yesterday; the sheer scale of the numbers has made me think there is mileage in this if all goes to plan. | bobbyshilling

13/5/2016 08:51 | Squiresquire....you are a complete irrelevance on this thread. Your silly predictions are rather like yourself, totally useless and meaningless. Now jog on back to your chart theory. It needs a wee bit of fine tuning. Just saying like. | shutittrev

Thank goodness the cognoscenti on this thread are far too knowledgeable to fall for your ill natured and pernicious comments. Just saying like. | shutittrev
