Thank you CWA1 that explains it. There must be a one day lag between buying and getting on the register. I have never come across this before in many years.

What about it? XD on 28/11. Register date is NOT the XD date. Don't see the problem?

Well what's this about then from a short time ago?

As announced on 8 August 2019 the Company will pay a 2Q 2019 dividend of 3.5 cents per share to those shareholders on the register as at 29 November 2019. However, following the subsequent announcement that future dividend payments will incorporate a GBP sterling election available for all shareholders, the 2Q dividend will now be paid on 20 December 2019 instead of 18 December 2019 as previously announced.

I'm hoping the move to a main listing will improve visibility as I believe this as well as the low persistent gas price and very poor investor sentiment to the O&G sector is undervaluing the company. I don't expect any immediate jump in SP, but hope for improvement in visibility which should translate into a longer term uplift in share price The buybacks and recent accreditive acquisitions should give EPS a boost at the next update. If you're going to talk PER - remove the fair value "bargain purchase" figures.

Even at these lower gas prices DGOC still make good profits . This will be seen at the next results . The fact is that we are all scratching our heads wondering why a growing company with excellent proactive management is trading with a pe if 3 and yielding 9% . I have seen shares in other companies trading at much higher valuations after issuing multiple profit warnings. This is far from the case here and yet the share price still languishes around a pound. It almost appears that the price itself is the main negative factor suggesting that something must be wrong.
The company has done all it can to dispel the accusations contained months ago in the notorious blog including moving to a top reputation auditor . Moving from the AIM will also necessitate higher levels of scrutiny. I hold for the long term and whilst frustrated by the share price , the dividends make that position palatable.

Probably nothing new for some of us but I would like to share this read:

hxxps://www.mckinsey.com/industries/oil-and-gas/our-insights/~/media/39299962068540BC85B599F5020BB8E9.ashx

I suggest to look at page 2, the executive summary.

Demand:
US and Canadian LNG exports account for
~60% of demand growth and will reach ~20 bcfd
by 2030

Supply
Appalachia will increase production to ~55 bcfd
and supply ~40% of the North American market
by 2030

Pipe build, especially from Appalachia, expected
to continue to decrease volatility
Shale has unlocked enough supply to keep prices
~$2.75/mmbtu over the longer term, with likely
bias to the downside

Podgyted would you say that, from here, the gas price can only go upwards?

Just bought back in, gas prices in the Appalachian looking better, rig count in us still dropping, main listing coming up, new auditors, secured long term finance, 10% yield. Famous last words but don't see this dropping much further. DYOR AIMO

Good update, excellent prospects and dividend yield , ridiculous share price. Let's hope the new listing will pull them out of this morass !

Hi Tia, good point. I believe part of the cash flow that was intended to pay off debt will be diverted to the payment of the notes since the securitization aims at the reduction of the debt. If the increased liquidity will be dedicated to the purchase of productive asset, the increased cash flow should cover.
That's just my assumption.

So if, as they've announced - "The LLC will use its net cash flows from the assets contributed to the LLC to satisfy the payment of the Notes principal and interest payments" - can someone explain to me why the funding of the Loan Notes interest payments will not cause a reduction in the dividends paid to ordinary shareholders, please.

TIA

They retain minimal cash. Any excess is used to repay their debt facility or to buy back stock. Securitisation of some of their assets via an SPV is simply an alternative cheap form of stable long term funding
