I think the slight confusion over the dividend was because the June details/specific dates were never published on Advfn, you had to go to the Company's own website and view the AGM agenda (issued 10th April) to get the dates. So seeing the September details via RNS might have looked like the June one was skipped, but it wasn't.

A Q on inflation and hedging.

Do hedges adjust for inflation?
If not, what happens if we get 10,20 % inflation (not impossible) pa for several years and hedges remain the same?
If not hedged against inflation with other hedges, which they do not atm

Click on the green 29c to go to the Dividend Max site which shows the 1Q23 divi amount and dates with the 4Q24 yet to be updated from today's RNS and the yield at 8.2%.

They usually do a dividend declaration before the previous one has been paid. Today’s declaration is nothing out of the ordinary for DEC.

I think the confusion lies in that the Q4 divi of 29c has already been declared as at the top of the header as today's declaration is for the Q1 dividend?

There's no issue with the dividend. It clearly states in the 10th April AGM notice that the Q4 dividend will be 28th June, while today's declaration is for the next one in September.

Yes those dates do seem to be for the next but one dividend with an earlier quarterly dividend also of 29c as at the top of the header.

Q4 div is resolution 2 on the AGM notice for the meeting due to take place tomorrow:
THAT the Company declare a final dividend of 0.29 cents per Share for the year ended 31 December 2023 payable on 28 June 2024 to the Shareholders whose names appear on the
Company’s register of members at the close of business on 24 May 2024.

Unless the previously declared q4 23 dividend to be paid in June 24 but they haven't mentioned any dates in these RNS'S apart from q1 . Div max claims 23rd May.Anyway, the hedges for 26 and 27 look great plus even 24 better than expected

Looking forward to tomorrow's TU - quite incredulously, Bridgeater upped their short position slighly on the 3rd May, meaning that almost 6% is currently out on loan for shorting purposes!
