16/1/2024 18:32 | Mindthestash – re; “No directors buying at these prices?” On 5th Jan the CEO said; “We want to be part of the M&A consolidation efforts that will take place in our industry this year. We think there’s a lot of opportunities” If there are any current negotiations, Directors and any other insiders will not be permitted to buy or sell shares until an event is announced or the negotiations are terminated. We won't know until any deal is announced, and may never know if there are negotiations ongoing which come to nothing. | fordtin

16/1/2024 16:47 | Drk1, Sorry, crossed wires, I merely meant trading LSE:DEC at about the US market open time in case we got a boost... Not that anyone would be interested, but for full disclosure my ~£10k trade today actually cost me a fiver mainly in the ii trading fee as I got out pretty much dead nuts flat. The price went directionless after the US open and without any momentum I thought better of it and bailed after an hour, only to then see it rise ;0) | ![]() cassini
16/1/2024 16:42 | DRK IG Diversified Energy Co PLC 1320 1336 -123.00 -8.48 This is the US listing I suspect. As this is the UK Diversified Energy Company PLC 1024.9 1043.6 26.00 2.60 $$/££ 1.27 | ![]() geckotheglorious
16/1/2024 16:41 | DEC in the U.S. is currently $13.17 = 1046p Therefore there is not much difference between the U.S price and the UK price for DEC. | ![]() loganair

16/1/2024 13:58 | Europe is definitely not awash with natural gas. It currently has very high levels of storage. However, this is solely due to massive imports last year. It will need to continue with large imports to maintain their needs. Countries like the UK have very little storage Capacity and lowproduction. | ![]() 2wild
16/1/2024 12:21 | If one is looking to the long term, the cause for concern is surely the huge expansion in gas production. The world is now awash with the stuff, with reserves at unusually high levels both in Europe and the USA. We are hedged, but those hedges have to be renewed for future production at prices reflecting then prevailing gas prices. That said, historically DEC has used periods of low gas prices to buy assets cheaply. High prices lead to increased production, increased production leads to lower prices and lower prices lead to reduced production, and so the cycle goes on. The business model is built round that cycle. | ![]() 1knocker
16/1/2024 12:17 | Anyone paying withholding tax should transfer to a sip. They will get a 25% Capital uplift from the taxman. Effectively giving a yield of 32% on new contributions invested into DEC. | ![]() 2wild

16/1/2024 11:18 | If you asked me - can buy some at this lowest point . I reckon it may go back up over £10.50 to £11.00 until Q4 update. From the this morning RNS , DEC confirmed no material change to its current state 😊 | ![]() stevensupertrader
16/1/2024 11:06 | So what’s your plan supersteve? | ![]() imnotspartacus
16/1/2024 11:05 | I have bought a few more. E&P is rocks and people. Here we are P rather than E but that saying still stands. I trust the P although the newer higher flow wells need to prove their production profile. I trust the people having met management and the real workers in the pickups visiting the well sites. | ![]() bmw30csl
16/1/2024 10:59 | After DEC RNS and yesterday 25000 shares buyback - I reckon this Is the lowest share price until Q4 update at the end of the month - only if Div is cut. Should Div is maintained, DEC rockets back up | ![]() stevensupertrader |
