Risks

- not the markets demand
- not production in major way
- not in regulations

- what remains is finances. And look FD goes as quickly as i have ever seen. But NO if there was anything , they would tell us

So all is just fine

Or

They are looking at it just now. Could they RNS suspitions of wrongs , mistakes and similar I do not know. Probably not until they know and that can take a lòong time.

I just banter and do not take me seriously

Warn away, as I also am firmly in the topazfrenzy camp having just added. At this volume, this is crazy share price action with stop/losses being hit on top of market sentiment. Each to their own, but I am in and in again - time will tell. ;-)

Good - you are a brave soul .
Obviously, you never believe what I said and that is the reason you grabbed a few more now rather than under 75p.

Definitely , we are always passengers and never a driver on this run away train has fallen asleep heading to no man’s land
Everyone on this train is trying to get out , it only stops when it hits a brick wall or the train driver woken from his 😴. Not a nice experience at the moment

Posted this on LSE, re-proposing it here:

Eric Williams, outgoing CFO has updated his LinkedIn profile with his employment in DEC terminating in September but did not add his new role or employer. Has he left with 2 weeks of notice to go on sabbatical?

We are certainly getting pounded, no denying that. Less than a week after a record divi was paid, on a total return basis (SP movement plus dividend) holders are down since both the day before ex div date and the day before the payment date.

There are times when it is probably best not to look at the screen too often, particularly as the current 18% income is for those buying now (and on the assumption that the dividend holds). For existing holders, the return on capital invested depends upon the the price at which they bought, and has not risen. A falling share price does not increase their return.

We have to remember that just as the flood tide lifts all boats, they all fall on the ebb tide too. We approach the equinox, and that is the season of big tides.

Patience and fortitude are important elements in the investment game, mon braves.

On the surface selling @£1.05 in Feb and buying back @80 p was a smart move however the capitalisation value of DEC has fallen more than DEC saved in the deal . BAD MOVE if this the way the CEO and the board think

Are there any rules on conducting buybacks and a placing? I notice they stopped buybacks from 31Oct to the Feb placing .

Selling shares for £1.05 in Feb and buying them back at ~80p now. They also 'save' on the dividends of those shares @ 17% a year

DEC in capitulation zone , will drop under 75p in the coming days.
Dividend yield is now almost 18% as share price is fallen off the cliff - no free lunch in life .

alotto. Irrelevant. The vast majority of their debt is fixed rate and amortized. It's in their presentations. They are largely insulated from higher interest rates. They have just had their other credit facility renewed and expanded. Remember the business has ~ 30%+ free cash flow margins. Finally the ABL lending structures are non-recourse to the parent.
