03/4/2023 10:21 | Guys It is about tax residency not where you live If you are tax resident in the UK and you would be paying UK tax then, you can benefit from the UK/US tax treaties If you are not UK tax resident then, UK/US tax treaties are irrelevant. My understanding is you can be physically located wherever you like - I am not in UK most of the time but am a UK tax resident and I get the full benefit of the UK tax treaties. In this case HL are either wrong if the poster is a UK tax resident or are doing a thorough job if he isn't. | marksp2011
03/4/2023 09:36 | spangle, DEC have already shown how EBITDA will develop. On p186 of the annual report, DEC's Pro forma Adjusted EBITDA, inclusive of Tanos II was stated as $681M. The Cenkos target price would still put the dividend yield at ~9% at current exchange rates. Given that further acquisitions are nailed on based on Rustys comments, a higher target in my view is justified from a value perspetive. | asp5
03/4/2023 09:14 | "We expect further rises in adjusted revenue and adjusted EBITDA in 2023, driven by a full years’ contribution from last year’s acquisitions and a more robust outlook for Diversified’s hedged portfolio. With a current liquidity position of US$190m and limited competition we see the potential for Diversified to make further acquisitions in 2023 at accretive multiples." You read it here first | spangle93
03/4/2023 09:10 | Buy note just out from Cenkos, btw. Target price 153p. | bluemango

03/4/2023 09:01 | Looks to me as though the key lies in the word 'Philippines'. | 1knocker
03/4/2023 08:10 | Stevensupertrader if you live in the UK you should be paying 15% . Absolute fact. Apparently some brokers are taking 30% from clients with complete disregard for the W8 Ben form. This is absolutely unacceptable. If you think this wrong buy some with another broker who abides with the law . | lab305
03/4/2023 08:07 | Not in my HL SIPP. Make sure your W8 BEN is current. | rik shaw
03/4/2023 08:05 | Re: DEC Dividend - 04 Oct 2022 - 07 Oct 2022 Dear Mr Cook Thank you for your email. I can confirm the holding Diversified Energy Company Plc in your HL SIPP will still incur the full US withholding taxes of 30%. As the Philippines is not a country which has the same tax arrangement which falls under the W-8BEN you are not eligible for the treaty rate of 0% US withholding taxes regarding income in the SIPP from Diversified Energy Company Plc. I hope this has been of assistance to you. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us on 0117 900 9000. Kind Regards Andrew Maharaj Dividend Department | garycook
03/4/2023 08:02 | Can't believe this is still being argued about when it's all explained in the header. Situation should be: None/zilch/zero tax if held in SIPP Otherwise: 30% withholding tax if no W8-Ben 15% if W8-Ben paperwork has been completed. | bluemango
03/4/2023 07:58 | Go check yourself on Google on US withholding tax on dividends if you don’t believe me - and it clearly states 30% . Don’t listen to some B. S on this board !!!! | stevensupertrader
03/4/2023 07:48 | US WITHHOLDING TAX IS 30% if received in US $ dividend on DEC that is the true accurate fact from my broker Interactive Investor and that is what I received net of withholding tax of 30% and I even queried with Interactive Investor why others on this board said was just 15%!!! | stevensupertrader

02/4/2023 12:27 | Skinny My broker requires the former to be renewed every three years. You may be aware or may need to check it's still in force. | loafingchard
02/4/2023 10:35 | Hi Lord Gnome, I've had a W-8BEN for years, harping back to when I used to do quite a lot of US trading. So the full fat for me. | skinny
01/4/2023 20:48 | Less any withholding tax, skinny? In my case less 15% which, is exactly what I got. :-)) | lord gnome
01/4/2023 13:31 | I'm not sure why there is confusion about the dividend rate. From the RNS on the 14th :- "The Company announces that Shareholders who have elected to receive their dividends in GBP sterling will receive an equivalent payment of 3.61 pence per share, based on the 10 March 2023 exchange rate of GBP 0.82609=US $1.00." Which is exactly what I got - a multiple of 3.61p? | skinny
01/4/2023 13:16 | It will be handy to accumulate dollars ahead of dollar share purchases, assign. That will save on the exhchange fee when you receive the dividends and when you buy shares in dollars. So far as I am aware, HL does not allow SIPP holders to accumulate cash in dollars. If anyone knows otherwise, I would be interested to hear! | 1knocker
01/4/2023 10:26 | Not sure I would take anything of value from that puke website! Just another hype kiddo website. Blocked! | carcosa
