30/6/2008 10:05 | As a long, I have to try and look at the positive points in the report, such as: "With a prestigious customer base and an excellent and skilled workforce, Delling Group is well-placed to continue to grow organically and be solidly profitable within the short term." | loganair
30/6/2008 09:54 | Not all bleak, but cashflow sounds to be the big problem. Much seems to depend upon whether they can secure new orders to suit their newfound critical mass and somehow manage the cashflow over the next year. Market reaction suggests a pessimistic outlook. | spaceparallax
30/6/2008 07:41 | I'm not sure why they should batter the share again pre-market, all this news was already announced? | james t kirk
30/6/2008 07:36 | Lets be honest, this is a very badly run company, with a totally uninspiring chairman and greatly over-hyped by a certain tipster. End of story. | orado
30/6/2008 07:35 | I noticed that they are going to be doing a listing in scandinvia - is this not going to reduce our holdings? | keifer derrin
30/6/2008 07:17 | Results out and as previously announced not very inspiring. The forward looking statement is equally as bland as before and there's no mention of what activity was like in the 2nd quarter. They may well have turned the business around but marketing is a tricky business to make profitable in a general downturn. | james t kirk
25/6/2008 18:47 | Dong Dong Dong !!!!!!!!!! | orado
25/6/2008 16:55 | so they have three trading days to release there figures according to them. Just wondering if I should hold my breath :-) | keifer derrin
19/6/2008 13:28 | I'd be surprised if they went under, but certainly a long recovery time whilst they rebuild credibility. | spaceparallax
17/6/2008 12:40 | Dong dong dong! The death bell ringeth, methinks.... | orado
04/6/2008 06:56 | Let's hope they get their act together and start producing some decent results. Profits in the 1Qtr sound good, but I'll wait for more updates before I think about buying more. | keifer derrin
03/6/2008 19:41 | Keifer - I've thought that all the way down to, but never topped up. I said what I said as Delling are now making a profit. | loganair
03/6/2008 17:50 | loganair - I said that at 6p 5p 4p...........ha ha... | keifer derrin
03/6/2008 17:30 | For a Marketing Company - Delling are not very good at marketing themselves. Just before the close, I topped up with a few as at this sp, it's rather difficult for the share price to go much lower. | loganair
03/6/2008 16:30 | The 3rd quarter was the problem and its very poor that it slipped their mind when updating the markets during that period. The fact they have now returned to profit suggests that the price now is very low, as long as they maintain profit.. | james t kirk
03/6/2008 16:24 | It should be profitable. It had an operating profit in the first half of 2006. It had a gross margin of 50%+ when it first floated. Management don't seem to have been able to maintain profitability in the past, probably largely due to not keeping an eye on the underlying business and just concentrating on making takeovers. Lets hope the whole of 2008 is profitable and then a shareprice of 10p+ should be on the cards. | jimcar
03/6/2008 15:54 | JIMCAR - The final few words of Dellings statement: "the Group is pleased to announce trading in the 1st quarter of 2008 was profitable." | loganair
03/6/2008 15:12 | There should be value in this company. Sales of almost £18m are 3x market value and a profit margin of 10% should be easily achievable. A shareprice of 10p+ should be sustainable. Problem is that profit seems to be a dirty word to the management | jimcar
03/6/2008 15:04 | Although I think long term they will be be a good company. They really need to sort out there PR. All they seem to come out with is bad news. For an example, they send there figures would be released today, what they released was an update and the full figures some time this month - bad PR. | keifer derrin
03/6/2008 14:54 | I would say that the results are not bad, although not as expected. DLG appear, in keeping the difficult Q3 quiet, to have committed a cardinal sin in potentially deceiving the Mkt. | spaceparallax
03/6/2008 07:15 | well that was a damp squid. Still losing money, albeit more slowly. | keifer derrin
02/6/2008 10:13 | JTK - Here's hoping you are right! | ph1ts
31/5/2008 08:56 | Well at last results we had seen turnover double and all but one part of company turn profitable. We've been told subsequent to this that all parts of the business are profitable and margins had improved in several areas. They also raised funds at 6p, so the balance sheet should be strong. I've bought back in as I think that Delling have finally turned their market leading position into a profitabe company. | james t kirk
29/5/2008 12:42 | can't you tell we have results coming out very soon. The usual move up on little volume. Let's hope they are good and get this share moving, but I wont hold my breath :-) | keifer derrin |
