A merger with a cash generating Oil and Gas Producer seems the only option with this company now, or sell to the highest bidder. That way management costs can be reduced accordingly. Their whole business model is a failed one, and they need to be honest about it. The directors cannot expect to sit around all day taking a salary without providing any value to shareholders. It would be interesting to know what Michael Spencer thinks of all this. Is he happy to carry on with this company continuing on in this fashion?

Reba- No income, not much cash and a need to fund or sell Selene.Expanding into US and/or Africa as mentioned in Upstream today, cannot be done without cash or by issuing shares to third parties (or a fundraise). They need to consider a merger or two both to cut overall management costs but to broaden the portfolio. Any two other listed merger candidates you can think of with assets in the US and or Africa, with a useful UK revenue stream?? It'll only require one management team and Board rather than three at 1mm+ GBP each.

The 2 tugs mentioned earlier are now being joined by big brother with an adequate bollard pull. See revised post #840.

Well , that's what most AIM companies are about. Be nice to have a directorship with one near a golf course.

In delta we no longer trust

Largest NS find in decades in Pensacola this outfit didn’t only end up giving away the license for nothing but then ended up paying the bloody drilling costs

You really couldn’t make up this level of incompetence

Shaking the tree. Impatient leaving, capitulating. I fancy we'll hear this month further detail on the geology analysis of the drill and plans moving forward.

Ohisay,Fair comment. I still hold, its a tragedy - delivered 2/2 discoveries. Good explorers but rubbish on the corporate/shareholder value side of things. I still can't believe in all that time they could not get the funding together for Pensacola appraisal thus forfeighting their interest and picking up residual costs (ouch). At this price, with most of matketvalue decimated over the last 12months, similar to SEA, all it will take is confirmation of exit from NS and new assets abroad to bring some life back to this.Let's be honest, any UK oil co that wants a future, needs to get out of the UKCS. Makes no sense to invest here anymore. Better returns elsewhere.Cash

I can't agree with that Cash.
We are both in Seascape which for a small company has some fantastic expertise and still materially underappreciated prospects .

But these guys are nowhere near.
15 years ago maybe ..not now .
Not for small oil cos with no special sauce.
