DKL's monthly production updates are almost always on the 10th of the month - so I'm looking forward to tomorrow, particularly if it's combined with news of the commencement of cashew production.

Interesting thought, but MM would have to know something we don't for them to take on that amount on their book (IMHO). Liquidity seems to be an issue here, however results will be the catalyst for more people to arrive and discover us. So you never Know an MM with balls of steel may be around.

I take the view that if the 3m was a sell it would be more bullish, indicating the market maker was happy to take a big number onto the book on a Friday, having to be confident that it can be sold at a higher price next week. Vice versa.

re 2137 - Agreed looks like MM's filling a buy order at minimal margin to sweep out sales over previous 3 days - unless they are working a major buy order. However as RA says now in the price.

Chadders not sure on cashews being shipped but there will be news on the plant. As for CPO etc expecting higher output than last October (Tonnage). With the prices being paid fully expecting that by the end of December we will have made an operating profit for the second half of the year. This would be outstanding in my mind and with cashew nut production on top this share is well undervalued.

Now the 3 million trade surely has to be a buy, cannot see the MMs offering that price for a sell. I could be wrong, but whatever it's in the price now.

I'm thinking that 3 million trade is a buy.....News next week on CPO progress and hopefully cashews being shipped.

Simon Thompson in the IC has overnight tipped a palm oil company as follows - he might just as well have been talking about DKL, but as it happens he's tipped AEP.

The upside seems much greater for DKL imo given the tiny m/cap, the boom conditions for CPO plus the imminent start of cashew production:

"Bargain shares: Fuelled for a rally to record highs

A producer of crude palm oil and rubber is benefiting from surging prices, higher production and lower Indonesian export levies
November 2, 2021
By Simon Thompson

Average crude palm oil (CPO) price up 74 per cent to US$1,156 per metric tonne (mt) in the first nine months of 2021.
CPO price has surged 8 per cent since 30 September 2021.

etc"

Over the last few days, international CPO prices have been trading at all time record levels. Should prices remain in this range we are well positioned to further improve on our 2021 record financial high season in 2022 which commences in around 3 months

Positive for DKL:

'And governments of 28 countries will commit to remove deforestation from the global trade of food and other agricultural products like palm oil, soya and cocoa.'

This year wasn't bad, with the prices as they are we could well be profitable come full year, without any cashew income.

Cheers OutlawInvestor, very good news. With high season approaching, and the 6-8 week delay in CPO prices in the IC, we'll hopefully soon know with certainty that DKL will have a record Q1'22 in terms of sale prices achieved.

Excerpt from AEP Trading Update

Outlook

CPO prices are expected to be strong for the remaining part of the year due to strong demand as the Covid pandemic eases worldwide. Projected wetter-than-normal weather in most parts of Indonesia with elevated flood risks for the last quarter of 2021 could hamper the robust crop production, which in turn could sustain the current trend of CPO prices.

In order to really change things we need some knockout news. It’s possible with the CPO price where it is. Cashews ?

Hopefully we'll get news of cashew nut production soon. I've bought a lot of these over the last 2 years and (geo-political risks aside) think this has a great chance of being a multi-bagger over the next few years.

Bought in here today.Been watching for some time since the rapid increase a year ago. Looking to hold for a number of years and potentially top up.Oil should show consistent growth but the nuts could be exciting given the market and potential for suppliers to try and monopolise the chain.
