Some warning signs

1. Placing is not underwritten. Could fail.

2. The Placing agreement is conditional on DMTR providing brokers with some documents? What is that about ?

3. Freemium model. Novartis aren't paying for it. DMTR 'providing' them witb stuff.

I think this is a bit of a sham

The £1.2m revenue wasn't 'from nothing'

It came about via the acquistion of the business 18 months ago

The Vendors of that business are entitled to sell their c.70m shares in the Company from August

I'd expect them to dump at pretty much any price

A great idea in principal and £1.2 million in the first year from nothing is good and 75% of revenues recurring. But 'safeguarding the business through the challenging period ahead, retaining a tight control of costs and preserving our resources..' says another placing is on the way with £4 million cash burn. if they had a direct COVID treatment they should raise money easily, but chemistry is not exactly gold mining so if they can raise the money is likely to be at a hefty discount.

When you retire in your 30s Jpuff you do have

1) a lot of time on your hands
2) a duty to share ones experience and knowledge with the inexperienced / amateurs who may not be aware of the wiles of the sharp City and Corporate operators

I'm surprised you're not retired already in the Seychelles with your knowledge of the markets and having been an ex successful fund manager too! Instead you spend your time posting drivel on a small company bulletin board and further you have no stated interest long or short in that small company. It's amazing how folk choose not to get a proper life!

They are sellers. They were forced to accept deferred consideration. I imagine they'll want to dump ASAP

There is no such thing as 'orderly' on AIM

Decent Brokers might place the stock with strong II holders.

The Initial Consideration Shares and the Deferred Consideration Shares are subject to orderly marketing restrictions, including an 18-month lock-in period. So dumped in one go or subject to orderly restrictions?68,400,000 - 9.3 % of 736,533,946Will they want more than 2.5p ?

With so many placings going on it would be remiss of these guys' brokers to not raise

A £13m Mkt Cap vs £1m revs is ASKING FOR IT

From the Annual Report page 35
Employee benefit expense (salarys, pensions, etc) - £2.7m. they have only 38 employees including directors.

Page 34
Revenue from Deepmater subsidiaries, which would include Glassware, excluding Infochem amounted to just £40,000.

Infochem reported revenue of £1.156m - sounds good until you realise that for the 10 month period in the previous year the average revenue would have been about £1.5m. So falling revenue.

Loss By operating segment:
Deepmater £1.3m
InfoChem £108,000

Interesting product but like so many Aim stocks they are probably broke.

Hurry up with that placing, don't they know the employees have a gravy train to fund.

Actual prices for buy and sell trades so far today are all sub 2p.
My best guess for future new shares a coming is 1.5p.
