Debsdowner - the detail of JL figures shows fashion UP 4%, with home and electricals down 6.2% and 4.8%.I believe DEB does more fashion and less of home and electrical so may well find DEB performance is better than JL

All the other statistics show a downfall in retail sales.

Warm weather outlook will add to the grim news on the High Street.

I have bought 200,000 and will continue to add.

Two reasons:

1. Credit insurance is back in place meaning the company can trade through Christmas and sell MdN

2. John Lewis retail shows fashion and beauty in buoyant growth which is positive sign for Debenhams

I know people will criticise but leave off, I just have a different opinion.
