19/2/2016 19:31 | Interesting to see that DDD ended up flat. It may have been an opportunity for a few people to dump some shares. Personally, I wouldn't bother listening to a podcast from DDD. I have never found anything to believe that has come out of the company, but that is a personal opinion. | zipless
19/2/2016 14:26 | Podcast interview with ceo off DDD; scroll forwards 41m 20 sec Worth listening to as he talks about $25m litigation Licence fees New apps Much more ..... | market master
19/2/2016 12:00 | They are worried that their ramping will be shown up. | zipless
19/2/2016 11:48 | This is one of the great comedy stocks. It has a 25% spread. The MMs are just trying to shift some stock onto some gullible punters. | zipless
19/2/2016 11:44 | Why waste time posting on here if you are "not interested"???? Move on to something else. | laeb1
19/2/2016 11:42 | The ceo has already stated that they are no longer interested in Sharp type deals and will now on target end users directly. They have launched a Upix app on andriod which went live weeks ago and will be available on Google play before end of month. That should boost revenues! The Upix app for IOS is due for launch shortly. | market master
19/2/2016 11:38 | Buy in cheaper? Like it is now expensive? Weren't the old margins some 97% on TV sales - and we are talking millions of units a year. Nope - not interested. They tried gaming before and ballsed it up. This smacks of small fry. I love the fact the 3D business is described as legacy - lol. | bonio10000
19/2/2016 11:36 | AVerMedia don't appear to be the best gaming product business out there, and being based in Taiwan, don't have a great influence in the US gaming market, even with a US office. CEO not rated that highly by staff either. So, I don't know much about gaming as a business, but doubt that the tie-up between DDD and AVerMedia will be a big winner on its own. But, the share price is so low, maybe a gambler's buy: could be enough people willing to buy to push the price up to 3p or 4p, say, before it falls back again, so even with the spread, perhaps a 2 to 1 on shot for a while ... maybe ... | andrewbaker
19/2/2016 11:34 | Note the mcap of ddd is around £3m so it will not take much revenue to get the share price to substantianly re-rate. With the out of court settlement due shortly and a potential windfall of $25m in compensation, I think there are few shares on aim offering a better risk/reward than DDD! | market master
19/2/2016 11:29 | The Sharp deal was a revenue sharing deal as well and DDD just got pennies for their share of each sale. There is nothing to indicate that this is any better. | zipless
19/2/2016 11:28 | The norm for these type of deals is 50% as stated by the ceo in an earlier interview. I agree it could be higher or lower but would expect it to be around $5 a licence. | market master
19/2/2016 11:25 | If you look at the news item it just says a revenue share basis. It doesn't say $5 at all. It could be $1 or even less or maybe just a few cents for DDD. | zipless
19/2/2016 11:19 | What I know that it's a REVENUE stream at nearly 100% profit in a very fast growing games market. I get the feeling that you are aware of this too hence your desire to buy in cheaper! | market master
19/2/2016 11:07 | Firstly, you have no idea of the uptake of the offer. Secondly the specific market for this particular partner company is a minority interest one. You could probably expect sales of a few thousand if you were lucky and more likely just a few hundred. The revenue from this is going to be tiny. No amount of ramping will make this look any better. | zipless
19/2/2016 10:55 | That sort of deal is exactly the same as DDD had with Sharp laptops and a few other companies. A trial version was given away free and then the customer could but it. The reality was that they didn't buy it any more than they will this time. This is not a deal at all. All they have is permission to bundle their FREE trial version with another company's product. DDD have tried this numerous times and it has never worked. | zipless
19/2/2016 10:38 | Max buy online now 300k at full ask! The share price should be well into 2p range by next week. | market master
19/2/2016 10:37 | After a fourteen day free trial, LGX users will be able to purchase TriDef SmartCam for US$9.99. The normal split is 50% so $5 for every subscription in a very fast growing market. With 99% profit margin that could be worth a lot! | market master
19/2/2016 10:32 | I did say in at the bottom guys, and this is with out the LG litigation payment, we hope a round $25 mill. | cgod |
