19/2/2016 10:31 | No indication of revenues in the news item. DDD have had endless news reports of deals over the years and are still at their lowest ever share price. I wouldn't believe for a minute that this news item is at all significant. A fair value for this would be 0p. | zipless
19/2/2016 10:25 | this company really is going to fly in months to come. | billweb
19/2/2016 10:16 | Nice spot cgod - you sure had your finger on the pulse! | dickiepugs
19/2/2016 09:43 | NEWS!!! GenMe signs TriDef SmartCam software distribution agreement with AVerMedia Technologies, Inc. Los Angeles, California: GenMe Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of DDD Group plc (AIM: DDD; OTCQX: DDDGY), the advanced imaging solutions company, has signed a distribution agreement for its TriDef(R) SmartCam software with Taiwan-based multimedia specialist AVerMedia Technologies for use with AVerMedia's LGX Live Gamer Extreme game capture and streaming solution. This is a three-year, non-exclusive affiliate agreement that will operate on a revenue share basis between GenMe and AVerMedia. AVerMedia's LGX Live Gamer Extreme is an advanced video capture solution specifically designed to meet the demands of state of the art video gameplay sharing. It captures 1080p uncompressed video at up to 60 frames per second with ultra-low latency, making it ideally suited to real time video gameplay capture from PCs and game consoles alike. The advanced editing features in AVerMedia's accompanying RECentral 2 software allows users to upload and share their greatest gaming moments to popular video services, such as YouTube and Twitch. More information about Live Gamer Extreme can be found at: Under the terms of the agreement, AVerMedia has integrated support for the TriDef SmartCam capabilities into their RECentral 2 software to create an easy to use experience that will be promoted to new and existing LGX users as a free download from the TriDef website. After a fourteen day free trial, LGX users will be able to purchase TriDef SmartCam for US$9.99. By adding TriDef SmartCam's real time background segmentation capabilities, LGX users will be able to overlay the webcam image of themselves into the gameplay video they are preparing before broadcast or streaming, greatly simplifying the 'green screen' overlay process that is currently used. Eddie Chen, Product Manager of AVerMedia, said: "Having witnessed the rapid adoption of TriDef SmartCam by thousands of streaming gamers worldwide, AVerMedia is excited to announce that this amazing background removal feature, which works in real time and without any green screen, has been fully integrated into our new RECentral 2 software. Now with just one click, gamers will be able to make their backgrounds disappear and put themselves into the game. Adding powerful new features such as TriDef SmartCam is part of what keeps the LGX Live Gamer Extreme the best-in-class game capture device in the market." Chris Yewdall, Chief Executive of DDD, said: "Since introducing TriDef SmartCam to the gaming community in September last year, we have seen a positive response to the easy-to-use green screen feature that is enabled by our product. Gamecasting is a rapidly growing market thanks to platforms like Twitch and YouTube and we look forward to working with AVerMedia, one of the leading developers of game capture solutions, to bring the TriDef SmartCam capabilities to this rapidly growing audience." 19/2/2016 08:44 | With the momentum behind the new 2D products, we are also planning to place more emphasis on our wholly owned GenMe Inc. subsidiary to accelerate the commercialization of the new products. The additional capital will strengthen the financial resources of the Company as we continue our return towards operating cash break-even." | cgod
19/2/2016 08:36 | But given the market size for gamecasting/video conferencing that is forecast to deliver growth from hundreds of millions of existing end-users, potential shareholder rewards remain very large indeed. Beaufort retains its Speculative Buy recommendation on DDD Group. | cgod
18/2/2016 11:14 | Just a loan and loans have to be paid back. Of course that is a bit difficult, if not impossible, when there is no profit. | zipless
18/2/2016 08:00 | New loan note due to repay in June 2016, they now have a clue how much money they will receive. Add and make money guys. | cgod
17/2/2016 14:27 | I have never held DDD shares or even been tempted to. This has been a disastrous investment over the years. It is currently at its lowest price ever. By any standards this is a terrible risk. | zipless
17/2/2016 14:15 | I know you sold out at heavy loss and are bitter towards company but anyone buying now should be well rewarded! You need to get over it dude.... move on! | market master
17/2/2016 14:11 | There are absolutely no signs of turning the company round. That would require decent turnover which is not the case. There is no indication of the likelihood of winning the litigation. It wouldn't return the money to the shareholders. It would just go into the catalog and pay off loans. | zipless
17/2/2016 14:04 | In the past the share price was 30p now its 1.5p and the company are turning things around. The mcap is under £3m yet turnover will be around $3m with 95% margins. They are working hard to get back into profit and I think its a great little company to invest in with huge potential. On top of this they are 99% expected to win litigation case which could return 10p/share to shareholders........ | market master
17/2/2016 13:54 | You need to read the past statements to put it in context, such as the constant bullish predictions over 3D TV which turned out to be a disaster. | zipless
17/2/2016 13:47 | Chris Yewdall, Chief Executive said: "The Company achieved a number of objectives in the first half transitioning from its legacy 3D business into our new offering of the 2D TriDef SmartCam solutions that target scalable opportunities in the gamecasting and video conferencing markets. We have been encouraged by the positive response from end users and prospective partners to the new TriDef SmartCam products. | market master
17/2/2016 12:36 | Why would anyone want the IP? It looks pretty worthless. | zipless
17/2/2016 12:28 | MM They are one of the main shareholders. Worst case they can sell the IP and get the loan back - but they are balls deep in DDD through past investment. I don;t think their loan can be viewed as independent at all. The fact is, only a shareholder would lend them money. | bonio10000
17/2/2016 11:17 | Arisawa has pumped money into DDD previously and got it badly wrong. They thought 3D TV was going to make a fortune. In reality it is dead. There is no 3D being broadcast anywhere in the world and TV makers are stopping manufacturer of the 3D sets. | zipless
17/2/2016 11:12 | The company is in terrible shape. It is ridiculous that some investors see its success as dependent on the out one of a court case. It just shows what little prospects it. | zipless
17/2/2016 10:20 | The company is not in as bad shape as the de-rampers are harping on about! I'm sure the company that lent DDD $800,000 has done due diligence. Agreed 30p was too high but fair value now has got to be around 10p in my opinion. DDD Group plc (DDD) is pleased to announce that the Company has entered into an agreement with Arisawa Manufacturing Company Ltd. for an $800,000 Secured Loan pursuant to the existing authorities granted to the board of directors. The Loan is secured by the Company’s US 2D to 3D conversion patent number6,477,267 and its international counterparts. Highlights: Issuance of $800,000 Secured Loan due June 30th 2016 has been completed under existing authorities The net proceeds (approx. $795,000) to be used to finance business development and licensing activities for the Company’s new TriDef SmartCam and UPix products and additional intellectual property licensing activities. Further details of the Loan are set out below. The affiliate licensing program for our new TriDef SmartCam products continues to deliver promising results and end user reaction is very encouraging with strong growth in downloads and an increasing awareness to the innovative solution amongst larger prospective licensees and partners. The additional capital will strengthen the financial resources of the Company as we continue our return towards operating cash break-even.” | market master

17/2/2016 10:04 | We anticipate releasing our UPix social photography app in the Google Play store later this month which should further demonstrate the applicability of our newest solutions to large growth markets. With the momentum behind the new 2D products, we are also planning to place more emphasis on our wholly owned GenMe Inc. subsidiary to accelerate the commercialization of the new products. | market master
