09/7/2014 11:39 | Looks like someone has got a bit of money to play with again after being smashed up by TGL and THR | the stigologist
09/7/2014 11:09 | Some solid buying here today. Maintain the view that this could break upwards quite significantly. | loverat
09/7/2014 10:40 | Bought 250k at .23 wanted at least 1m but there is no stock about not chasing! | kooba
09/7/2014 10:35 | I certainly can see a return to 1p based on this news. Interest building on a generally quiet stock. | loverat
09/7/2014 10:10 | potential 10 bagger from these prices in couple of months, buy and hold IMO # :-) | senor_sensible
09/7/2014 09:35 | hi kooba your post seems to echo my hunch that other things may be going on. The biggest problem I see to any external approach is the number of shares O'Shea holds and he won't easily let go of a cash that pays him out excessively year on year (profit or no profit) | lr4850
09/7/2014 09:18 | Why state: "audited by pwc"? IMHO something more is going on here and it could be relevant that a big firm is auditing. Perhaps someone is interested in acquiring/merging with DAN. Just a hunch and others opinion on the pwc reference in the RNS would be welcome. (I have not seen such a statement either in DAN's or other companies RNS's) The pop up today with - the warning of another loss - may be a suggestion that something is going on. | lr4850
09/7/2014 08:45 | If they can stem the losses you have a fully regulated mini investment bank trading at a small discount to book with a value of just over £1m bought a few hundred and working to get more as an average...I look at it as option money ( and an average from 0.5p I'm currently in at) but there needs to be changes at the top or hopefully the whole shooting match is sold at a premium to someone wanting the regulatory permits and the losses! Why a trading update now?? Does this free the way for insiders to buy? | kooba
09/7/2014 08:09 | Well, we know this may not be everyones favourite share but I wonder if the market has failed to realise that there are signs of life. Also at a price of around 0.23 which I think is the lowest this has been. I took some the other day for a punt. | loverat
09/7/2014 07:26 | Doctor I can feel a pulse! It my be faint but I think the patient is still alive....whoop whoop. Will have to be kept on life support as there is no alternative to a head transplant if this company is ever going to return to health. | kooba
04/7/2014 20:43 | Nothing to turn off. No electricity as they failed to pay the bill. | lr4850
04/7/2014 20:21 | Will the last person to leave turn the lights off ! | shackleton1
04/7/2014 12:06 | Dirty Dan is top of the flops today-why is that? | meijiman
28/6/2014 12:02 | Things must be better at DAN than we think? What gives them the need (or are they dellusional?) to employ PWC who aren't exactly cheap and are more used to dealing with more successful, competent and honest clients. Perhaps DAN B.O.D are taking it private? Any theories welcome as to why PWC. No meaningful news on their "investor relations" - LOL - section of their website. | lr4850
14/6/2014 09:10 | Just like in the Middle East with MENA? Eh DAN. Nothing came of that charade and nothing will of this (from DAN web-site): The Daniel Stewart China Conference Wednesday 18th June 2014 This year, China is poised to pass the US as the world's largest economy (ICP World Bank). Moreover, urbanisation, the shift to domestic consumption and rapid growth in e-commerce will continue to be key drivers of further GDP growth. We recognise that growth in China has recently slowed and uncertainty over the outlook remains. However, we believe that the new government is proving pragmatic, as seen with the relaxation of the one-child policy and reform or rural property rights. Our half-day conference seeks to address the investment opportunity which exists in China and features presentations from our Chief Economist as well as companies that operate in a range of sectors. 12/6/2014 18:51 | dewtrader Been here long enough watching the markets(and investing my hard earned monies)and seen it too many times Check the charts- 90.6% loss here over 5 years All IMHO with this one BTW | 29palms
12/6/2014 17:26 | Fingers crossed for all of those things and good luck with your investing. Hopefully, not too long to wait for COMS news and hoping it is positive. Your dream may come true and trust you don't need much to get out with a profit. | lr4850
12/6/2014 15:58 | 29palms 12 Jun'14 - 13:53 - 6627 of 6633 0 0 I would say watch out for share suspension pending clarification on financial position. All IMHO why do you say that! | dewtrader
12/6/2014 15:50 | All the best kooba. And as though I had a premonition when i typed before, guess what? COMS has now been suspended - could be for positive reason, but knowing my luck, I doubt it. Do you post on QPP what a seriously bad 2 months it's been on there. Yes they brought to market and sold a warrants or shares - can't remember without any notification. Perhaps DAN should be suspended to investigate o; shea? | lr4850
12/6/2014 15:04 | Thanks kooba. I am going through the "AIM Experience" with QPP at the moment and would not be surprised with QPP. So disheartening and demoralising when it all happens at once. I had written this off in my head but to see it happening is not good. O shea probably got more out of company than he bought shares for - my only consolation was that he would lose out too as he has (or had) a substantial holding. As you say disgraceful and the British tax payer is being screwed by shady individuals and without there being any accountability or penalty. | lr4850
12/6/2014 14:11 | Oh dear. Lost my money again. I must learn my lessons quicker. All my shares down today and overall not looking good. | lr4850
12/6/2014 14:05 | I would not think it would take very long to clarify that! | loverat |
