21/1/2008 11:14 | DNK holding well despite the FTSE down by a massive 200pts...L2 is still 1 v 1. | chancer6
19/1/2008 21:42 | First time I've seen the word 'takeover' associated with Danka in an article - when the refinancing on the debt happened in July 2007. Danka delay puts investors in action Investors usually clobber a company's stock when it postpones a scheduled quarterly earnings release. So why did they cheer Danka Business Systems' announcement Monday, sending the St. Petersburg company's share price up nearly 8 percent to $1 a share? The good news was that the struggling copier-machine distributor is refinancing its debt to make good on its bonds and, some infer, may be grooming itself to become takeover fodder. "The concept was that rather than have a call now and have to be a bit cagey on it, we'd hold off and have it when (the refinancing) is in place, " CFO Ed Quibell said in a voice-mail message. | chancer6
19/1/2008 21:39 | Nice bit of morals shown by Mr Frazier who is making significant progress with Danka since he took over. Nice to see he will be at the helm for longer as a reward! Danka CEO puts performance over paycheck Not many public-company CEOs take pay cuts these days, but A.D. Frazier is bucking that trend. According to a regulatory filing Tuesday, Frazier - who runs St. Petersburg-based photocopier distributor Danka Business Systems - has agreed to lop 23 percent off his $700, 000 annual salary, lower the maximum bonus he can earn and more closely tie the bonus to long-term performance measures. In exchange, Frazier's three-year initial contract was extended to five years. | chancer6

17/1/2008 19:43 | im still in this dog from the dizzy heights of 35p...sitting on a large %age loss of course, but small fry really in nominal terms... thought it was a good punt at that level in 2005, and so far very wrong.... Is there any chance of a return to histtorical high of 800p?? LOL! | chicogabb
17/1/2008 19:07 | British Bulls: After Close Tonight. BUY-IF 2.4000 -0.0300 -1.23% DNK Danka Business Systems PLC Daily Commentary Our system posted a BUY-IF today. The previous SELL recommendation was made on 17.12.2007 (31) days ago, when the stock price was 3.9000. Since then DNK has fallen -38.46% . A bullish pattern has developed and a BUY-IF alert is issued today. The last two candlesticks formed a Bullish (Doji) Star Pattern . This is a bullish reversal pattern that marks a potential change in trend. However, its reliability is not very high and it requires confirmation. | chancer6

17/1/2008 10:02 | Loan notes aren't due till 2010 so this will run for a bit longer. It also wouldn't be in Cypress interest to kill Danka and I'm pretty sure they don't want to be running the Co. The best solution for them would be to give up some of the strangle hold to get some of their investment back rather than none. My view is there will be some sort of debt dilution and extension of the Loan notes. All is still very dependent on them increasing revenue and returning to profit and if AD Frazier can be believed this is his goal. 10k was me - only small beer for now but will start accumulating between 2p and 3p as a real gamble upto 7th Feb | geng
17/1/2008 09:35 | geng - I agree that's hard to imagine that there won't be some significant restructuring here and a D4E would be my best guess. The notes indicate that the lenders have a significant number of financial covenants in place. Have you seen the covenants detailed anywhere? It would be interesting to see how close to the edge this lot are.... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
17/1/2008 08:52 | Well supported on the bid and JEFF on 2.65p, EVO on 2.70p, KBC on 2.75p and WINS on 3.25p...one trade on PLUS: 17/01/2008 08:17:02 2.65 10,000 O 265.00 Thanks for your summary geng. | chancer6
17/1/2008 08:34 | Almost balanced with the ADR price now. This usually implies the current bottom 0.20 / 4 / 1.96 2.5p Starting to look worth a punt - lets see what Feb 7th brings ! Although there is the problem with convertible shares - I think this is something AD Frazier will negotiate with Cyrpress. This is where the gamble is, the deal could be a D4E - not good. or some sort of write off - could be good. Just have to also see the statement re new business. Could be a 10 bagger or bust - high risk but fun. | geng
17/1/2008 08:04 | Wash your mouth out dell she is a highly regarded analyst amongst her friends. | argy2
17/1/2008 07:58 | Chancer - I see you are now choosing to ignore the debt discussion, as two individuals have showed your statement to be wrong. Also, when the share price rises, you claim that MMs are "aggressively looking for stock" and when the share price falls, they are "looking for cheap stock". Can you ever envisage a scenario where MMs might not be trying to get hold of stock in a company that you are incessantly pumping? Rgds dell | dell314
16/1/2008 21:26 | Back up tomorrow if the markets are ok...up 5% on the OTC exchange and again sign of how the movement on the LSE listing was just too obvious where the MMs where looking for cheap stock on a very bad on the markets as was the case in most stocks. Typical scenario of lowering the bid substantially and keeping the spread very big and not lowering the offer. $ 0.20 0.01 (+5.26%) Volume: 1.48 k 0.20 802 OBB 15:30:44 0.19 316 OBB 15:07:36 0.19 115 OBB 11:57:06 0.19 250 OBB 09:30:39 | chancer6
16/1/2008 18:28 | she won't have it lol. One of two things will happen here 1) She will make something up and hope sheeple will believe her over the facts being posted about the debt 2) State that you are all her filtered stalkers and she is not going to get into debates with you, thus avoiding having to post a sensible reply watch this space for clarification....... | seanmiller
