G'day seagreen, was registered mill status in 1991, along with a few other dotcom shorters! Moved to France, so a nobody now.

Mulling yesterday, just two large bets this term, both long!

Like you, taking it very easy now. Plenty of seatime and general travel.

After divesting Chinese assets in July last year and news of moves to sell off Tcom in Taiwan. I'm confident enough to give Univision UVEL back my gold seal guarantee - uncertainties yes, Hong Kong yes, but mainland China assets are gone and Taiwan shortly. The latter will bring needed cash for expansion.

My 575 Regent Pacific shot up 28% today in Hong Kong and paper profit would wipe out my OXS loss - cant sell though. Should have taken note of your wise comments on OXS in the past.

Univision UVEL are a strange situation these day. Priced at 0.65p whilst 3 Chinese companies want to pay 2.15p to 2.25p or more. So much so one is applying to the Hong Kong court as they feel they've lost out because their 2.15p offer has not been accepted and they say it was deal done for 41.5%. This is dirt cheap or I'm a Chinaman!

Yes, going well at NMG and we may see some gyrating in the share price with speculators piling in with gold assays to come and more talk about where they will get diggers, shovellers, and lorries from to take the ore 7Km to 10Km to be processed. The chart shows 0.2p, 0.45p and 0.7p as sticking points as the shares rise.

575 Regent Pacific. On paper I'm showing a 120% profit or £15k but cant sell until TDD (TDW) transfer the shares from certificates to Hong Kong tradeable. When that happens every man and very many dogs will have lorry loads to dump, annoying.

LSH Leader Smart Holding based in Hong Kong. A private company with ongoing Arbitration in Guangzhou. Asset value is between 6p and 8p a share. Cant sell but worth up to £400k, very very annoying. In reality worth about half that so we must see if it's all smoke and mirrors or not.

Disappointing reaction to today's ann by OPTI. But then, I still don't quite understand everything and some have rights to convert around 8p. May be looking for deals on supply and that takes time, so may rise gradually.

Reduced NMG at 0.18p to free up a little more cash - continue holding 5m shares going forward.
OPTI looking OK this morning and quite cheap after the announcement. POG also OK and bigger prospects of a bounce.

Yep! CAZA has been a disaster and I thought 5p would be a comfortable floor. These debts that always concerned me if profits failed to pass muster, in fact have near brought down the company.
Going private can be a time to clamber into a stock providing 3 to 5 years is an easy wait.
Jupiter Mines, formerly ASX:JMS, have been private for nearly two years and one director did say, 4 months ago, that he dare not think where the share price might be now. How could they sell half their assets for $100 million with market cap at $25 million and no debt.
CAZA are a good company and only the ruination oil price floored them.

POG, quite a different kettle of fish and I'm prone to take small profits here and there. Still not managed to make much and remember selling at £8.02 a considerable time ago, so buying back in once more at 7.07p last week seemed mega-cheap.
Today's IRC announcement seems to be reducing concerns and future iron ore production at 65.7%Fe is encouraging.
Recent interview with TW gave a solid reaction on the continuing plans to reduce the $610 million debt. The weakness of the Russian currency where all costs are based looks good for this 500+ million ounce gold producer.
Me thinks worth 20p to 40p a share but market thinks around 7p - we shall see.

OPTI, no expert on this stock though TW was bullish some months back. Major target is £1 and just failed to get there at one stage - so that remains first target at £1. Looks cheap to me at under 80p but admit i've not done my homework on the financials.

NMG up 30% at one stage today but a long way to go yet. Was once over 4p a share so no chance of getting back there again.
Would have bought more POG and ASX:RMS but near fully invested and much tied up in Hong Kong - good luck

G'day Noirua, slated you for poor management of your finances, still believe you are barking, but a chancer and why not.

Opti - I have been in and out, at good profit but shut the door, something wrong there.

POG - do not follow.

NMG - Today, I bought 3M, I like prospectors but I'll go along with you and take a chance (£9K) not such a big bet. If they fail, then I will say "goodnight minmet". However, we are in the same boat on that one - btw - please reduce all the bull on your site, nobody reads it - said as a friend, not distractor as most is out of date, last loser job? Keep up to date kid!

You are in profit, me certainly not, but I like a poke at gold - too young for Brink!

Univision UVEL, took holding up to 3.66 million shares last week. Increased holding in ASX:WEC White Energy to a nominal 100k shares. Both involved in legal battles and director share transactions.

Added POG Petropavlovsk again at a tad over 7p.

HK:575 Regent Pacific holding at 5.5c and worth about 7.4p or 110% profit, on paper, to original PLE investors at the close of trading on AIM.
Will the Chinese investors hold the price with most UK investors still frozen out, that's the question. Quite a lot of selling last week and probably down to HK former Plethora holders based in Hong Kong.
