G'day ttg,

I tend to avoid oilers. Majors OK for divis I guess, but I prefer short term trading.

Excludes HSBA, which I do trade but irregular.

WLFE - tungsten price drifting, probably not a good time to buy. Guess that investors await results of testing at Hemerdon. I'm out for the moment, sold at small profit, but intend to return.

Golf, I play in Bermuda (have little choice, our friends there are all golfers). However, when playing pairs, I'm allowed a handicap of 40! Whilst in France, prefer sailing/fishing.

play 3 times a week now
got slaughtered by 15 year old off single figures in the knockout
and was doing quite well until then !!!!!!!!!

All well with The Ig ... have the golfing bug back these days plus son has taken to the game Big Time.
Playing well but scares the pants off me how far youngsters hit the ball these days.

will take a look at WLFE as fancy a punt on something and have reset a load of blue chip buy orders quite low just in case.
not sure what has happened to our chums - presume now involved in school hols but as an old wrinkly person only difference is less traffic on the road to the golf club !!
fancy some commodity shares RIO BLT GLEN etc but not sure which - you fancy any?
off to buy a new car so "reasonably" excited.

G'day ttg100, snap, also holding posn HSBA, nice divi, spin orf could be interesting.

Your short Euros, an easy but natural bet - I'm too busy taking advantage of the exchange rate (1.43 yesterday), same thing I guess. French taxes not increased much so we look at it as 40% discount all around.Apart from 1 (French Co.)all pensions are paid in £ sterling.

Damn good market for us foggies, what!

Gambling on WLFE, large holding now (av 16p), mkt not so good, but if predicted extraction, could fly.

I also have been successfully scalping on the short side + short euros
which seemed bleedin obvious.
left a load buy orders on blue chips very low down but only one filled
was HSBA.
Now not too sure so on side lines at mo but may long oil.

A tiny (but nice peeps), country, to bring it all down, class.

I just wonder how many Greeks followed my path of shorting all mkts?

G'day you sleepy lot, just cleaned down the BBQ! A certain few peeps have polished orf the rum swizzle, not a happy chef. JB tot, not bad (no rum left).

I have just read that Falklands have struck more, nice one for Farnham, guess you will be moving down to St Trop soon! Don't bother putting your house up North, on the market, buyers delight at the moment. Doubt you wish to sell anyway, like me, own just the one in Brittany now, Summer stay only (it's the bones ye know).

Apart from the odd index flutter +109pts DJ (not allowed whilst kids are here), nought doing, I will be unleashed in May!

G'day, Was thinkin that with the millions you have made, you may be sunning it out here in Bermuda, not seen any of you yet! Mind, if you count 1000 resturants, I'd give you maybe 7 that fit a decent bill. Many have no clue how to cook decent fish, I blame the infestation of banking crowds, they cannot taste food after their dogwatch pink gins. Too many fat yanks waddling around the streets? Forgetting that side of the business, a lovely place to relax.

Anyway, sharefront, sold OCL, sod the missed agm, I was warned that they would rather ask for money than dispence a trophy, share buybacks a clue on AIM, done wrt Daisy etc, it's 5 handbags. Taken.

Holding HUR (long term obviously), becoming sentimental on that front, as I do respect the issue with one needing to travel. I'm told that the grill of my car in Brittany, is covered in moss, so I'm gambling on oil and saving the world!

Word on the grapevine, CMC are losing business to IG and others. Couldn't handle AIM I guess.

G'day, taken a holiday from index trading as communication is somewhat iffy down the South of France.

Besides, no tips from de dog, or err in other doors!

Closed all shorts (XEL,QPP etc) in order to cover one long term bet (HUR)which is in the drawer, posn 0p - free shares, a gamble for the kids.

Continue to hold OCL, but only to join the AGM in Bermuda - I wish to discuss their I & II fund strategies! Never trusted D and he knows it - time to face up!

Apart from that, enjoying the mild climate, wife misses the prospect of snow, but then, I may not be the boss but I'm awful persuasive! Anti Auther rules OK!
