Directors' Shareholdings



Dairy Crest Group plc ("the Company") has was informed yesterday of the
following transactions by directors of the Company that took place on 12
November 2003:

Drummond Hall has sold 60,000 ordinary shares in Dairy Crest Group plc at a
price of 485.5p per share. Following this transaction Mr Hall's current total
holding in the Company is 100,296 shares (0.08%).

On 12 November 2003 Mark Allen gifted 9,937 ordinary shares in the Company to
his wife, Mrs Amanda Allen. Mr Allen subsequently sold 5,569 ordinary shares in
the Company and Mrs Allen sold 9,937 ordinary shares, both sales at a price of
485.5p per share. Following this transaction Mr Allen now holds 31,342 ordinary
shares in the Company, representing 0.03% of the Company's issued share capital.

Alastair Murray has purchased 3,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of
485.5p. These shares represent Mr Murray's entire shareholding in the Company.
