The interesting figure for 2011 is revenue of £8.3m and profit of £800k if accurate reflection of brokers forecast.
At current margins of 85%, this would give a figure of £6.255 for overheads, representing some 40% increase in overheads.IMO that's a lot of bodies.

Final results were issued on 17th March 2010. If the results were to be issued on the same date this year, we are about to enter the "closed Period". Just wondering if there was any significance re the transactions on Friday, namely the 950,000 and 1,000,000.

Our new man Chris Clothier who joined us recently is second one down on right column, you will note he studied chemistry at Oxford.(click the pic.)
There is a good article on IPGL page 84 in M.O.S. today.Basically says they are a very profitable organisation and the chairman Michael Spencer says "our porfolio of 12 companies are looking good".....happy days ;-)

Sorry can't find a link to it (will try later in week).

EDIT....I hope some of you have taken the trouble to read the latest Aimzine article, very easy registration (cos I wouldn't do it if they required too many details).

Couple of interesting transactions on Friday

Looks like someone has transferred shares into a sipp account. 950,000 and 1,000,000 but no change in share price.

Wonder if we get a holdings RNS next week.

Bob,
The guy you refer to (Paul Davidson) created a massive short on CRX on floatation & made a fortune. He got into deep poo for his alleged behaviour. Made his frtune in activities in a plumbing business that made jointing on central heating pipes very efficient to install. Not sure if he had a position on the board though.

Old Crow and Cotton,

You might find a recent article on Cyprotex published in Aimzine (www.aimzine.co.uk) useful for more updated background information on Cyprotex.

Alright so far as it goes but says nothing really and slipping it out on Christmas Eve just shows they did in fact have nothing to say.

This could sleep well into the New Year but still in line with red's long held view.

Am looking elsewhere for my excitement in the meantime.

Cyprotex on track
StockMarketWire.com
Cyprotex, the preclinical ADME Tox services company, said today it has made solid progress following the integration of Apredica and Cellumen.

Company expect full year results for the period to end-December to be in line with market expectations as described in the most recently published analyst note.

Dr Anthony D Baxter, CEO, said: "Following our acquisition of Apredica in August and the introduction of our new CellCiphr(TM) toxicology suite, we are pleased to report good, steady progress in trading. We expect our numbers to be in line with market expectations and our ongoing investment programme reflects our continued confidence in the future prospects for Cyprotex."

Lets hope that there is enough in the broker's note to attract institutional investors and nice to see that the integration of Apredica and Cellumen has gone well.
