Beat expectations on the electrical markets, broad based profit boundary expectations, potentially one off event for the year accounts and key event upcoming to boost profits...These include the launch of the new iPhone 8 and trading over the Christmas peak period.

A good reason never to buy Costa coffee (plus it tastes awful imo). Anyway good luck all, looks a decent short term recovery trade.
Cheers

Nortic,You really need to get a better phone from carphone if you can't multitask - investing on the smartphone and order a coffee at the same time. Even pay for your coffee by phone!HahaGla

Scotty I bought 50000 about 30 mins ago but had to sell other holding. Was chomping at the pit this morning to buy some but I was out. That coffee in Costa cost me 10k.lolI will add another 50000 if they pull back.

Nortic, mine never agrees with me either. she is normally right as well. Yes I bought some this morning ravin as the fall is overdone (summer liquidity tends to exasperate moves) and will buy some more at some point.

consensus seems to be 27p eps. Way too cheap..Certain one off factors and also new phones will prove very popular most have been holding off..

Me also Nortic, in fact I know very few people with a 7 all quite happy with the 6 for the time being.

It's the problem of the phone brands rather than the phone sellers imo.Obviously both linked but the phone brands call the shouts and they'll adjust with better tech phones and realise the current models are to pricey, hence most hold phone until ever other model as most have 24 month contracts and then realise sim only is better until the next 'better' model. It will adjust no doubt.Gla, bargain at these levels imo

hmmm was in these a while back

Glad not now.

Not so sure about the balance sheet to be frank. Strip out intangibles and there ain't a lot left

cash going in the wrong direction too.

Dire, wait until after the market crash before thinking about buying these. Many sectors/stocks in bubbles or just becoming irrelevant.

Just thinking about mobile phones. I've held on my iPhone 6 and intentionally missed out the 7. When the 8 comes out I'll be pilling in like so many other punters . Price fall well overdone. imo
