Carphone, another business lost in the 80's all these stocks are in terminal decline, I might buy a few @ 50p after the market crash

Well I can't see support at 225. It may go below 200 tomorrow as the shares weren't sold so far probably only for the dividend as the share price has fallen so much and there seems to be no end to it. IMO

that sounds about right
seems to have some support around 225 and then 190 and we are back to 2013 prices

Crossed at the low of the day..235.3p..
So many bots at work here it is hard to know which one to pick out..
But they are all taking it the same way...DOWN

The last two days has seen a rather agressive little beasty throwing it's weight around..but they are all as blind and bad.

a good update on 7 september and director buying shortly after once the allowed trading windows opens again would be helpful!

Yes interesting. If they have taken advantage of lower interest in the Summer months they could buy them back a lot cheaper now. Not sure if that is their plan.

Pound under pressure for weeks again as well so that won't help on pricing or with disposable income squeeze. But PE is now very low and yield is high so when people start returning in Sept things might hopefully improve.

to put some numbers on that....at 30 june they owned 56mn shares. at 22 july their reported holding was 23.5mn according to bloomberg. the stock trades on average about 4m shares a day. i don't see the latest update but it could be that they are almost out if the selling has continued at a similar pace. but selling that amount in summer at that pace, if those numbers are correct, must partly explain why the stock has been so terrible since the last results.

Lansdowne hedge fund has been dumping millions of shares for several months according to the holders register, looks like they are in the last 25 per cent of their original stake.

Heading below 240 after divi at this rate.
Time the management showed some faith in their company and loaded up unless there are some skeletons in the cupboard that we dont know about.
Sitting on large paper loss here
