Well they will know the figures from last year already. We wont get actual figures until mid year I expect, but we could just get an update along with perhaps another order in the rail sector.

I'm with you Neil, sometimes wait for ages just for the rise that gets one out.. then oh maybe just a little more, only to see it slip back !

To be honest I tend to hold, and looking for 4p here.

Bit of a difficult one this. I bought in Aug 20 at 3.27. So, for me this has been bummping along with no movement to speak of since then. I've actually been waiting for a little move up in order to sell. The forward PE is not very attractive at 32!

However, now I see a small move in the SP, the greed takes over and I think I'll hold for a while longer. I sometimes let my emotions win just to mix it up a little.

Nice to see a little tick up.
Maybe news not too far away as most of their business is from companies not affected by covid.
Can't wait to see their recurring revenues for the year just ended.

Thanks MM , you have reminded me why I invested here. Had a quick look at the last update and it was satisfying to read this again..

Barrie Whipp, Founder & Chairman, commented,

"Crimson Tide performed exceptionally well in all areas of the business in the first half. All of our management metrics were achieved and we continued to add quality, long term subscription revenues. Our product development continued, driven by opportunities within our existing and potential customer base. The business is set fair for future growth and profitability. "

Since then, the additional good news of that 500k contract, I'm re-infused and tempted to add a few more,
nb.. just took 25k @ 3.21p

Helium have largely been selling their shareholding for whatever reasons institutions are required to rebalance their portfolios. Selling by the institutions rarely reflect the prospects of micro-caps, but can cause a drag on the share price until they're finished.

If you like the company, and personally I think TIDE has terrific potential, then it's wise to use these (often forced) sellers to increase your own holding if you're looking longer term imho.

From my blog, "Gross margins 87%. Profitable. Minimal debt. Growing long term subscription revenues. Unaffected by Covid-19. Winning sizeable clients across supermarkets, rail and the NHS. Stick some figures into a spread sheet and see what happens to their profitable growth with double digit revenue growth."

Christ its been a grim hold since October, is there something underlying this weakness I wonder, or is it time to add ?

mauricemonkey. That is only an indicative spread. The actual spread is only .05
Mid is 3.35 but you buy at 3.38 to 3.40

Spread on these is ridiculous; 0.5p on a 3p share.

No, 4.5p isn't very ambitious but it does incentivise key staff to remain at TIDE for that period.

I was very impressed by Luke Jeffrey's presentation at interims on 22nd Sept, still available on the IMC platform.

hxxps://www.investormeetcompany.com/investor/companies

7.5m options is a value of £337k at 4.5p.

But vesting over 3-10 years gives a big incentive to stay at TIDE at least 3 years. It's not clear if the options vest over the 3-10 year time frame. That would have been preferable - e.g. vesting at 3, 5, 7, 9 and then a large vest at 10yrs.

3-10 years for the share price to reach 4.5p is not much of a challenge for the options

in the RNS of 4/12 we were advised that Quilter had reduced their holding from 15.06% - 10.68% or I believe minus circa 25m shares

I don't ever remember seeing them listed as large shareholder

Haven't seen anything to show where all those shares went

Maybe this explains the lack of movement

I was just happy that the price didn't go down

The large buys are continuing. Surprised that there's been no increase in the price. Maybe a big seller matching the buys

D - I got into Eckoh from around 5p.

It was a case of steady contract wins and renewals

All the time building the recurring revenue

Software co just like Tide with lots of income dropping straight to the bottom line

I am always on the look out for low mkt cap software cos building recurring income and a number feature amongst my holdings.

Fingers crossed for an acceleration in contract wins and a few more believers buying in to this solid co
