12/3/2018 10:54 | Playing catch-up on TIDE. Don’t currently hold having decided against taking a LT position last year. Felt valuation was up with events at the time & couldn’t determine the cost of investment & timescales where this investment would be reflected in a ramp up in profitability. I’ve now had the opportunity to see WH Ireland’s forecasts & essentially they’ve slashed turnover and profitability for 2018 & 2019. See Twitter @ glasshalfull1 for details on changes to forecasts. Still think that TIDE will ultimately make the breakthrough & step-change in profitability but I currently see better opportunities & will keep TIDE on my watchlist for the timebeing. Kind regards GHF | glasshalfull
27/2/2018 09:05 | Good point - it's on Stockopedia but guess it could be a mistake. | hydrus
27/2/2018 08:51 | Hydrus, they did £1.86m in 2016 so not sure where you've seen the £1.8m forecast? I'd like to know how much of the increased cost is permanent (people) and how much is temporary (marketing). I'll still keep them on my watchlist and see what news/results come from the company in the future. | jamielein
27/2/2018 08:36 | The forecast I've seen was £1.8m revenue for year ending December 2017 so actually I think they are well ahead. Agreed though that profits are below expectations. At this stage though with low revenues profits are going to be pretty small whatever so important they focus on growing the top line which they clearly are. They've signposted revenue growth of circa 23% again in 2018 and then accelerating growth in following 2 years which sounds good to me.You may well be right though re next 12-18 months not a lot happening with share price. I have a smallish position here and happy to hold and see where they get to in 2-3 years. | hydrus
27/2/2018 08:28 | I decided to sell today. Possibly the wrong decision but profits will fall short of market expectations [EPS this year was expected to be 0.22p but will be similar to last year (0.08p)], and revenue was light too [£2.3m now expected vs. £2.5m forecast]. I've been holding since mid-2015 and have been disappointed with the lack of share price progress over the last couple of years. The chart has been looking quite weak for some time so I've decided to exit. I understand the lower than expected profits are due to investment in people and marketing, however they've previously been able to grow profits significantly year on year over the last few years. Although this company has great growth prospects, I'm not convinced that the shares will do much for the foreseeable future so my decision is purely short-term in nature (12-18 months) rather than having doubts over the company's success over the long term. | jamielein

12/12/2017 11:48 | The link from billbyrne above, which I copied as below, shows that mpro5 is used worldwide by big organisations. I predict a steady double digits revenue and profit can be achieved every year. hxxp://www.directors | 338
12/12/2017 11:08 | Added to my position this morning as the price has been moving sideways for approx 2 years now and the longer it stays in this pattern the bigger the breakout - WHEN IT COMES. | red army
12/12/2017 10:40 | The TIDE is coming, 4p strong soon. | aussiedonnie

24/10/2017 11:06 | Tide seems to be off a lot of people's radar although contract are relatively small it is good to see repeat business | filament
24/10/2017 09:58 | Nice contract win update today. They will all add up ! | the shuffle man
14/9/2017 09:04 | Positive interims last week but clearly this company remains below most peoples radar. "The Company is currently progressing well with expansion plans in continental Europe. We have already won new business through the efforts of our Netherlands based sales resource and are optimistic that our larger UK customers will use our mpro5 services in their European operations. Further afield in the UAE, our agreement with the British Centres for Business has started to produce enterprise level opportunities and to help progress these we now have a dedicated resource based in Dubai. In the US, we are participating in the CARIN Alliance, a multi-sector collaborative, working to advance the exchange of health information and deliver solid pharmacovigilance and digitalised healthcare and in Australia, from where our Technical Director has recently returned from a very encouraging business trip, our partner, Mobilise IT, is working on opportunities we have identified. Turnover for the six months to 30 June 2017 increased to £1,114k, up 32% on the same period in 2016 (1H 2016: £845k). With gross profit margins remaining over 90% and operating margins before depreciation, amortisation and interest of 32%, the business continues to show the benefits of its high operational gearing with additional revenues adding significantly to net profits. After depreciation, amortisation and interest costs, the Group achieved a profit before tax of £142k in the first half 2017 (1H 2016: £122k). Our investments to accelerate future growth have largely contributed to the 31% increase in overheads over the same period last year, and while there will be a lag between making these investments and the resulting growth, the Board are convinced that this strategy will be to the medium term benefit of shareholders. We continue to work hard to ensure that we achieve this success." | masurenguy
11/7/2017 09:48 | The business expansion to Europe grows pretty well. Remember that TIDE has signed contracts in Ireland (with Vodafone) and also in Denmark few months ago. | 338
11/7/2017 07:19 | If I had more guts I would add more TIDE, see how they finish today. | aussiedonnie
11/7/2017 07:01 | The company has actually made a profit over the last few years and their profits have been growing. This is another large contract, which I would hope is renewed after 2 years if their product is well received. It's worth nothing that they are however on a high rating already so I'm not expecting a massive increase in share price anytime soon (I still hold by the way). Edit: I meant 4 years as it's a 48 month contract | jamielein
11/7/2017 07:00 | Margins were 92 Percent so a bit of profit. Let's hope there is more contract news to come... | lanzarote666

20/6/2017 12:28 | ...the boss (since this DEC) has been linked to WEY education... Do you think these two companies (WEY and TIDE) will do some sort of joint deal at some point? | netcurtains |
