04/12/2014 08:39 | Looks like our "distressed seller" is not finished yet! Crazy price - should rise to more sensible levels when seller has finished. | spazzz
03/12/2014 15:43 | I don't like the way they go on about NAV rising dramatically in the most recent accounts and then Net Asset per share only just rising, but who values those assets anyway? Pressfit value has halved since floating and I think if I remember rightly it floated at less than CRV had valued it? Anyone remember that? | nick rubens
03/12/2014 15:41 | I don't like the way they go on about NAV rising dramatically in the most recent accounts and then Net Asset per share only just rising, but who values those net assets anyway? Pressfit value has halved since floating. | nick rubens

03/12/2014 09:08 | From LSE:If you look closely at the sell trades, it would appear many got caught out with their stop losses and the MMs made the most of this. I may be wrong by I think the MMs have played on the weakness of some. The fact remains the NAV is £5.53m and we are currently valued at nearly half that. Personally I think it's fairly responsible of the company to state this is not a short term trade, but a long term play. That's not to say we won't see some gains over the next 6 months in the short term, but the real value will be 2+ years. If they continue to do what they say....'We believe we shall continue to find exceptional value in acquiring assets and issuing new shares at above market price' then I'm more than happy to hold and add at these levels. | chumpster10126
03/12/2014 08:49 | I can't remember the last time I picked up CRV shares so cheaply. It's a shame that some PI's are selling. It's apparent from the latest RNS, that this is a longer term profit-making holding. But one thing is apparent, it is seriously undervalued. And when it eventually goes, it will go like a rocket, just like FitBug.Good luck to all. | chumpster10126
03/12/2014 08:29 | From last weeks RNS:- "We also realise we are issuing new shares to distressed sellers. These individuals and companies more often than not will be forced sellers of Craven House shares. When we conduct the transaction the vendors almost always indicate they are not planning to sell shares immediately. We explain that if they do decide to sell shares it will depress the share price. Yet because they are often distressed and due to external pressures they may be facing, they can rapidly become aggressive sellers of Craven House shares. We accept and expect this outcome despite assurances to the contrary. Distressed sellers often must sell despite their best intentions. This, in turn, depresses the share price". And on right on cue today someone has dumped 2.6million shares (so far). | mortimer7
29/11/2014 09:19 | The proof of the pudding is how well the investment does in the end. Dont forget there are very big players behind this company so I wouldnt think they would be bothering to manipulate smaller shareholdings. What they are doing though IMHO is using CRV as a quoted vehicle within their huge asset base. For my part I am staying here. .4 looks like a good support area. | parsons
28/11/2014 14:59 | You can sell CRV shares in great quantities, but you can buy very few, unless anyone can direct me to a broker? Clearly someone is hoovering up these shares. As i mentioned previously, the next couple of weeks should be interesting. | chumpster10126
28/11/2014 14:25 | "We issue shares as acquisition currency at a large premium to market price" i.e. we issue shares at market price and ratchet up the deemed value per share to pretend a premium is paid. We do so as the related-party investment manager is paid a proportion of the book value which we report 'at cost' and inflating the pretend cost gives the Crony House Capital investment manager a bigger fee. | bam bam rubble |
