06/6/2020 08:56 | The Net Asset Value (NAV) at 04/06/2020 was: Per Ordinary share (bid price) - including unaudited current period revenue* 92.61p Per Ordinary share (bid price) - excluding current period revenue* 92.60p | neilyb675
22/5/2020 09:00 | CYN weren't one of the ones I sold (& didn't sell enough), so still in. Commods perhaps still to have their day in the sun when the money-printing extends. | spectoacc
22/5/2020 08:42 | HugePants, thanks - though I rather foolishly didn't buy back in at the 50p level. Still watching for now. -0x3F | 0x3f
22/5/2020 07:38 | The Net Asset Value (NAV) at 20/05/2020 was: Number of shares in issue: 66,888,509 Per Ordinary share (bid price) - including unaudited current period revenue* 90.87p Per Ordinary share (bid price) - excluding current period revenue* 90.85p | neilyb675
21/5/2020 20:38 | That was some call 0x3f. Still its been a good recovery from 50p and nav is back over 90p. | hugepants
07/2/2020 20:50 | Agree with that. | spectoacc
07/2/2020 20:30 | I like tbe fund, but sold out today. The markets are completely ignoring the China situation, for now. I think there'll be a negative reassesment in the near future. Saying that, gold and FI holdings should help the performace here compared to ofher funds / wider market. -0x3F | 0x3f
07/2/2020 14:38 | Then again at the last factsheet 4.8% of the NAV was in HUR. Still the fall in HUR is in the price. | hugepants
07/2/2020 14:35 | Maintaining a 20% discount here. Looking at the portfolio they have hardly any exposure to oil or thermal coal so relatively green. | hugepants
17/1/2020 16:22 | NAV 115p. Despite the gradual rise still on a 20% discount. | hugepants
03/1/2020 18:58 | Agreed .... 118p target if patient .... but I rarely am. | keith95
02/1/2020 13:58 | Still a thumping discount, but a little surprised to see someone took a nibble at 91p! | spectoacc
02/1/2020 13:55 | Yup .... good to see ;) | keith95
02/1/2020 13:32 | We seem to be waking up here... | playful
31/12/2019 22:11 | hxxps://www.hl.co.uk R.E.A. Holdings 9% Cumulative Pref Ord £1 4.20% Palm Oil rallied nicely with the above ceasing dividend payments last June presumably to resume in the near future with a payback. Hurricane Energy is the current under performer in the top 10 list. 21% discount is the average this past year and since about 2010 by the look of the chart. The problem here is a reduction in institutional investors over the past few years. Too many retail investors so the share is off the radar IMO. | keith95
31/12/2019 09:12 | Discount highest it's been in a while and some decent gold exposure - c.17% at last Factsheet. Mind you - last run-up in gold didn't seem to help the share price that much. Suspect if gold does go for it again, it might. | spectoacc
31/12/2019 09:06 | This is definitely ADD territory for me. | neilyb675
30/12/2019 15:51 | Certainly looks cheap on a 24% discount and 6% yield. Yield may not always be covered from income but they are taking a "total return" approach to the dividend. | hugepants
20/12/2019 15:29 | Barely changed over a year. Best that can be said about CYN is that it pays a decent divi, & is surprisingly unvolatile for the sector. The worst? That it's down over 5 years, 10 years, and the charges are much too high. And discount persistent. Remain a holder - for the yield. One day I'll rotate into something better. | spectoacc
18/11/2019 12:48 | Added at 86 | neilyb675
16/10/2019 18:00 | Picked up some of these | hugepants
06/10/2019 13:33 | .... 26% Gold / Silver holding .. .reduced Iron ore position whilst picking up 2.7% of its holdings in Raven Russia 12.7% preference shares at depressed prices ... or fire sale from Woodford Fund. I like this fund especially given Ian Francis's contribution that links fixed interest securities with equity ensuring that income is generated from the fund. GPM seems a black sheep ... and keeps me on my toes with the other two managers ... | keith95
27/9/2019 17:38 | I think it has to narrow, and that I think price will rise to circa 100p by y/e. | neilyb675
27/9/2019 17:27 | Discount just seems too wide IMO, but I would say that. Been as high as 10% over past 12 months, but currently c.25%. | spectoacc |
