13/11/2007 07:25 | Crest data from ADVFN. Shares on loan 0.36m, or 0.03%. Suggests hardly any shorting. But then I wouldn't trust that data, or the conclusion! The reason I'm was wondering about a rights issue is how are they going to address the debt problem now they don't have the Comensura IPO? Sale of another division? Sale of the complete company or a merger? It's a tough market in which to be forced to do deals and raise funds. | typo56
12/11/2007 20:35 | What about Allianz SE????...as far as I can see its only been small retail sells over the past week and the big buy gobbled up was for 26m shares at 3.41p. | chancer6
12/11/2007 20:34 | What about Allianz SE????...as far as I can see its only been small retail sells over the past week and the big buy gobbled up was for 26m shares at 3.41p. | chancer6

12/11/2007 19:36 | As you know banks can pull the plug any time on a company with big debts and this is one of them, it could be borrowed shares as well. Have seen this many times in AIM company's this is 100% being shorted IMHO. Could be wrong but time will tell give it 3 months | thinkbig?
12/11/2007 19:30 | I would agree that it does look that way but two points to note; 1.Why would Daniel Stewart accept the broker position if that was the case. 2.Why would we see this in the interims New banking facilities in the UK and enhanced facilities in the US Any reasonable response appreciated. | knowing
12/11/2007 19:22 | Seen this before in an other share before it went BUST, people think inst buying but infact they were shorting, that's what the initial rise was. This has far to much debt and will go Bust | thinkbig?
12/11/2007 19:19 | Good value at this price | vssnottm
12/11/2007 18:24 | it is getting a bit silly. but their buying has not impacted the share price collapse. i think allianz se buying in is "comforting" in that a little birdy would have told them if they were buying into soemthing where there would be a deeply discounted rights issue | purav
12/11/2007 18:01 | On my watchlist for a speculative punt....only last week Allianz SE increased their holding by 26 million shares at 3.41p. They've increased their stake rapidly over the last month to 23%. | chancer6
12/11/2007 16:37 | Whatever it doesn't look good. | knowing
12/11/2007 14:32 | Looking at a share issue and consolidation if there's to be an issue imo. Otherwise it looks like shorting (on very low volume) prior to take-out. Any other ideas? Still watching and waiting. If it was trading performance I would have thought that the company would have issued a statement. | vida

08/11/2007 16:16 | Feels like a deeply discounted rights issue could be on the way | typo56
08/11/2007 13:00 | Last year there was a Pre-close update on the 20 December 2006. I expect one should at least wait to see what will be contained in such an update should one be released next month, before throwing good money after bad. Allianz have now 22.53% of the shares, which they have been accummulating over the year, as per RSN of the 5.11.7. I wonder what they are holding them for and why they are continuously going back for more and why the purchases make no difference to the share price whatsoever. In any event it is still a long time to the final results announcement for the year ended 31 December 2007. The last finals announced for the year ended 31 December 2006 was on the 21 February 2007. Not that anything good or significant, like a declaration of a dividend, is expected to propel the shares upwards. | a1samu
08/11/2007 11:44 | This just wants to keep going lower. Not buying yet. Given the failure of Comensura to float, are they planning a share issue? Hardly seems worth it at this level. An offer could come at this low price I would have thought, even if it's not the right time in the cycle. Thoughts anyone? | vida
