LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Corporate Services Group PLC swung to a pretax
profit in the first half as its operating profit more than doubled, and said its
trading in the first eight weeks of the second half is in line with its revised
expectations.
For the six months to end-June, the company reported a pretax profit of 0.2
mln stg against a loss of 1.4 mln stg. Sales rose 4.3 pct to 273.8 mln stg,
while operating profit surged to 3.4 mln stg from 1.6 mln stg last year.
The company said its UK and US commercial staffing businesses have done well
and UK healthcare staffing business has reversed the downward trend of 2006.
Corporate Services added it is focusing on sales generation and increasing
productivity per employee, which will enable it to capture market share in the
second half.

£2.4m of the company SOLD today.. 2.5%...thats so huge anyone any ideas? Word on the street is that the Health Care division is doing very well now, which was the only weak area.

Recruitment company Corporate Services group is appointing a nominated adviser ahead of the possible flotation of its business process outsourcing operation, Comensura, on the Alternative Investment Market.

Comensura has won plenty of business, and while the implementation of some new contracts has been slower than expected recently, its prospects are, according to the company "truly excellent".

This had a small mention in the Shares Mag over the weekend, It was pointed out as a recovery story that so far the market hasn't recognised.

Also given the small number of postings here I expect this share isn't on many pi radars

I'll be watching these, having read the brokers report, the shares should rise with increasing projected profits over the next year with a falling pe ratio. (if the mgt team can deliver on their own expectations !)
