Sold them Chesty. Lovely profit. Might go back if they sort the main project. Brown envelopes required maybe. If you look back you'll see I've already sold here. Lovely profit too. Not the high but like I posted don't get greedy, never know what is round the corner. This has dropped from its high since you appeared, just like RBW.
Looking to go back in here at some point, might miss the low and miss the bus altogether though.

Thanks Chip.

UK gold shares are definitely in the doldrums at the moment, so CORA's slight positive movement today is definitely a good sign in my book. Very occasionally, I've spotted generally bad situations (like today where the price of gold has fallen significantly), where you can actually see evidence of the wheat being separated from the chaff. I wonder if this is another instance of it.

Despite the talk about no increase in interest rates, with even more mention of negative interest rates, most are inferring the inflation can only keep going up. With gold continuing to be depressed, CORA shares should continue to gently ascend to the end of the year when the DFS is announced. Were inflation to be acknowledged in the Market, then it's anyone's guess as to where the CORA price might get to, for it's as much to do with sentiment as it is to do with the intrinsic value of the company itself. IMO.

Well that ended up pretty encouraging re finding support.
Indeed, a good percentage of the trades were buys in actual fact. At 13-14p spread, around 3pm one could purchase at 13.25p briefly; listed as sells ofcourse!
In no time "they'(MM) soon have to raise it!

Hi corrientes,

I have had CORA in my portfolio for a couple of years and continue to build up my holding when share volatility provides opportunity. I was initially interested in their more southern project areas because of the natural/obvious synergies with HUM's Yanfolila plant.

However, I have now become even more interested and positive in the stock since reading through the Scoping study prepared by Wardell Armstrong regarding the Sanankoro project and supplemented by significant input by SRK consulting.

Suffice to say I ran up a discounted cash flow model to check the potential NPV that would result from the proposed heap leach, short LoM, outlined by SRK, and found it justified my interest. In brief, it was for 4.06mt of oxides to be processed by HL over just 2.7 years.

CORA has very supportive shareholders (predominantly the Quirk family) and already have a US$21m term sheet available for financing that initial project.

But the recent drilling results are pointing towards a far larger, high grade, deposit and SRK had already suggested an exploration target of c. 1-2Moz Au from c. 70mt of oxides.

That may or may not work out - still too early to tell - but clearly they have an exciting project at Sanankoro and given that the Lionhead term sheet requires a positive DFS by the end of 2021, there is not too long to wait.

Hence, I remain very positive and intend to increase my holding over the next few months. The outcome painted by the DFS will be the ultimate decider for me but tend to the view that this project is likely to get into production.

Chip - I know you've commented on HUM, but would you be interested in giving CORA the once over, or is it too early stage for you to comment ? Thanks.

Best not to compare with GGP!

They are in a JV with an attributable of 30% - unless Newcrest opts to take it down to 25%.

Top of deposit at Haverion is 0.5km down and extends to over 1km deep. Whereas CORA are near surface 0 - 75m and in oxides - so free dig. Also far better grades.

CORA are planning onsite processing, either heap leach (ie cheap, US$20m) or CIL (better for higher grade material but more expensive to build (c. US$60m).

Newcrest plan to truck ore or concentrate 48km to their Telfer plant. So Capex to drill & blast deep underground then haul to surface and truck is going to be expensive! Still to prove up a viable reserve and bring project to DFS level (ie all costs et al).

Totally different projects and totally different MktCaps!!

CORA are providing the best, most consistent, drilling results on AIM since Havieron started reporting longer but generally much lower grade strike lengths. Jurisdiction is very different of course, but this is still far too cheap.

Pinched from AG on LSE-

Just thought I'd leave this here, Results from various Zones throughout Sanankoro which demonstrates the continuity of the high grade Deposits. One of the best Junior deposits I've ever seen. (I know these are results many have seen so apologies if this feels like Deja Vu, but it's always nice to refresh the brains and nice for New investors too)

Truly outstanding work and unrivalled in the Junior sector right now. And to think there are still 20,000 of the Total 59,000m to be drilled over the years, still to announce. Shallow Oxides, wide intercepts and high grade hits, its a stunning project. the clues are alll there, this is going to production, and soon. None stop news flow on the way, bring it on!

What kind of resource size do the assay results point to ?Just wanted to gauge opinion as many folk are throwing in comparisons to GGP and some others - which are premature at this stage.Cash
