22/1/2011 19:52 | diesel...If I'm the optimist, I think it's fairly safe to say you're the pessimist. -------------------- ContentFilm takes foreign rights to Sundance doc Knuckle The imdb news section has more on the film than the title page itself. The deadline news article mentions that this film has been 12 yrs in the making.........12 years !!! | cardiffian
21/1/2011 10:34 | Cardif...thanks again for your updates...only problem I see with Phase4 is that CFL get nothing for it, I dont think they even list it as an asset. Now if the business continues doing well and sometime down the line they sell their holding it may go a long way in reducing debt which in turn will make CFL more profitable. Ridgt now although not setting the world on fire the business is ticking along ok, only thing is the debt repayments are knocking the stuffing out of any profits. That said if they did make more profits they would probably only go and pay themselves even higher salaries and bonuses! | diesel

20/1/2011 19:34 | My mistake...6 !!! Unless y'all have a subscription to Variety, you may have to increase the brightness on your computer but still need to strain your eyes to read the following article. Whether you would want to read the article for the one-paragraph Berry Meyerowitz quote is up to you. It does however give an indication on the current progress being made by Phase4Films wrt Sundance. You might not need to strain your eyes after all. I was having a connection problem on my other laptop so I switched to this one and now I can read the article with no problem...go figure !! | cardiffian
20/1/2011 18:06 | Make that 6.... | bangers for bucks
20/1/2011 11:33 | Well I think that's one post each from probably the last 5 shareholders of CFL...assuming you all still hold at least 1 share. | cardiffian

20/1/2011 08:14 | very good Cardiff...perhaps there are some highly paid execs that have already gone through the process? | diesel
20/1/2011 02:54 | Perhaps contentfilm was used as an experiment: you can look at it, even pet it but don't expect any movement!! | moneymagnet1
19/1/2011 23:03 | Here's an earlier article that I've just found: | cardiffian
19/1/2011 22:45 | Although it does remind me of that scene in 'Amelie'. The dog looking adoringly at the portrait of his master. | cardiffian
19/1/2011 22:42 | I read the headline, saw 'Animal Planet' mentioned and thought to myself...hmmm maybe this has something to do with 'Collinsave'. Then I read the article and thought...they can't be serious ! At least there won't be any accusations of scripted 'reality' programming, considering the stars of the show (the animals) are dead. This would surely only reach a very limited audience. Those who have taxidermied their beloved pets and those considering it....and a few sickos who might get their kicks from it. -------------------- Taxidermy business that freeze-dries dead pets being filmed for a new Animal Planet show by Andy Dehnart / January 19, 2011, 8:27 AM | cardiffian
14/1/2011 09:07 | keep up the good work Cardif...there's been nothing on the CFL website for months, and it wasn't me selling out still have a few more than 45 of these. | diesel

13/1/2011 15:42 | I've just noticed that 45 share sale...lol !!! -------------------- It seems 'The Republic of Doyle' season 2 may have gotten off to a good start last night, if you go by the few comments at the bottom of the article. I'm sure the press will make their views known over the next couple of days ! telegram.com/Arts--- | cardiffian
10/1/2011 16:03 | Nice to see a couple of apparent buys go thru with only a couple of poxy sells (so far) to make up the numbers. Obviously that 444 belongs to a larger transaction otherwise the seller would owe money to the broker. 444 @ 1.525p = £6.771 . With TD Waterhouse, the best commission rate is £7, leaving the seller with a 22.9p deficit...is there really much point !! | cardiffian
09/1/2011 09:34 | A c21 article that can be read without the need for subscription ! Fireworks mentioned toward the bottom...interesting article. IMO. | cardiffian
01/1/2011 21:28 | Only me again. I just browsed over the last 20 or so posts to see if I had mentioned that 'Heartland' got the go-ahead for Season 5, which is scheduled to be shown in the Fall. | cardiffian
01/1/2011 08:44 | Happy New Year everyone. IMO, Series 3 of 'Republic of Doyle' is more than likely to get a green light. When you have a hit on your hands, you don't stop until the ratings decline and the feeling I have is they ain't going to decline just yet. After what seemed like a shaky start with S1-E1, where the initial reviews were somewhat downbeat, the series has certainly gathered momentum and what now seems to be, a world-wide audience. Published on December 31st, 2010 Tara Bradbury The Telegram "...Since its successful first season started last January, "Doyle" has seen tremendous success. The show was nominated for five Geminis, is available on DVD and on Netflix, and has been sold to just about every region of the world, broadcasting in Europe, Africa, South America and Australia, and dubbed into languages including French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic..." | cardiffian
