05/8/2015 00:12 | We know this would never be of interest to Capvest, but don't be so sure that S Fitz will not help out the prof and Maureen in a time of need for CGNR. I suspect you probably couldn't hand pick a better deal maker than S Fitz when it comes to finance organisation. | goldeneye5
04/8/2015 16:29 | Maybe Seamus Fitz is to busy mounting a bid of 280 million for One51 with Capvest...........I wonder could he help Prof Conroy get 40 million? S Fitz in the rich list was somewhere around the £90 million in 2014.......so you can probably take it that this is possibly twice this number in reality.....so he has the means. | goldeneye5
04/8/2015 15:55 | Who will be the 1st gold major to land in Ireland? Or will we get a deep pocketed individual? Is Seamus Fitz ready to invest or bring in a group of investors here? Surely that's not beyond him? | goldeneye5
04/8/2015 11:53 | here is one | odvod
04/8/2015 11:49 | Do we know any investors from there? | goldeneye5
04/8/2015 11:39 | Am I a deluded man as well as many? No I am hoping and I am not excluding any option that can help the performance. An investor from Bosnia sounds as a reasonable idea to me. | odvod
04/8/2015 11:24 | Is there an interest from Bosnia and Hercegovina? Maybe there could be one. To improve the performance. | odvod
04/8/2015 11:18 | Anything going on here or are they all on holidays. Where are they on feasibility, env studies? Planning application preparation?.....som | goldeneye5
30/7/2015 16:37 | Sorry 2014, my mistake. | goldeneye5
30/7/2015 14:10 | Interesting article, Goldeneye5. Thanks. It's from May 2014, btw :) | glenalmond

23/7/2015 17:14 | Anyone know what ever became of the 7 licences awarded in 2011 in Kilkenny, Tipperary and Clare?I am surprised that Seamus Fitz hasn't done more financially. I expect he will eventually. Are CGNR in any negotiations at the moment????? Recent website presentation suggests any deal may involve everything and not just clontibret. Price of gold is not helping, but I suspect it will be higher in 3 yrs........couldn't resist that!Little more patience required here | goldeneye5
23/7/2015 13:52 | Not a single trade today. Nothing's changed here so! | goldeneye5
21/7/2015 09:47 | Check this out........... ; ) Metals And Mining >> CEO Interview >> August 21, 2000 Richard Conroy - See more at: hxxp://www.twst.com/ TWST: When you look three to five years down the road, what's the vision for Conroy Diamonds & Gold? Professor Conroy: The vision for it is that we will have the gold mine in County Monaghan either up and operating or well on its way to becoming so. We will hope to have two to three more deposits on the same trend, and we do have 1000 square kilometres, which is a pretty large area. At this stage we don't know whether any other deposits will be bigger or smaller, but the likelihood is some will be bigger and some will be smaller. If this is so we will have what is effectively a company maker and become quite a significant and, hopefully, a highly profitable mining company, focused on possible enhancement of shareholder value, and probably working in association with one or more of the major companies. We will also certainly be encouraging the marketing trend, which I mentioned earlier, of the actual use of the gold. We would, for example, support the development of the jewellery industry in Ireland. We would also I hope by then, have found one or more strategic opportunities which could again yield a major increase in shareholder value for relatively limited expenditure. I think if we succeed in all that we will have a company that has gone from a market capitalisation of about GBP3.5 million ' a very, small company indeed ' to one capitalised at a much higher value. - See more at: hxxp://www.twst.com/ Classic.........I wonder whether the true believers have seen the above? ; ) | thecynical1
20/7/2015 21:17 | "Regardless, the funniest thing I have ever read on any discussion board is your story about the Prof confiding in you in 2005 that he had no money left to invest in his own company!" It's very easy. Pick up the phone. Here's the number. Call 00353 1 661 8958 and ask the Prof. Assuming he is still honest and honourable, that call will wipe the smirk off your face. Or you can be a coward and don't make that call. And while you're on the line to him, also ask him how many times he has predicted "a mine within 3 years" to investors over the last twenty years. And you might want to ask him how confident he remains about your high timeline for 2016/17. Go on. Satisfy that itch. | craffert
20/7/2015 08:25 | oh dear....Kev is apparently under the impression that a company could feasibly get an EIS/EIA completed, planning permission issued and an entire plant built in....em........17 months ( assuming the end of 2016 )............one born every minute........jmo! LOL! I wonder what the ROI calculation looks like at today's miserable gold price........the payback time has presumably changed a bit.............but hey......who needs facts on here when dreams are the order of the day..........? | thecynical1
