Posted at 16/11/2023 13:04 by richgit Investors should concentrate on Demir Export, and not Prejudices related toThe prof. As long as The Money Men "Demir" remain involved then this stock has unbelievable potential. It seems that other Money Men would make an approach if Demir exited-but then why would Demir exit a situation of potentially Millions of Ounces of Gold !? We all have our own agendas-right or wrong may be decided by a stock price of beyond £2 at some point. Not all will agree, but then nobody is forced to make an investment. I have also invested in several stocks listed in Canada`s Graveyard of Gold Exploration Explorers, where History tells us that some such hated stocks of the past- rose to unimaginable multiples over the years. Not all of course- but then you only need 1 out of 10 Remember when Franco Nevada was virtually untouchable !? GLA |
Posted at 30/6/2023 10:26 by craftyspeculator These guys listed 26 years ago on what was then OFEX. Is there another listed company in any sector that has managed to cream millions of pounds from external investors for 26 years, while producing zero revenue, producing zero gold but all the while paying handsome remuneration to the founder / executive, who keeps recycling the pot of gold at the end of the ever moving rainbow story. 26 years listed, and the market cap is just £5m. What a waste of a quarter of a century of investors money. A case study in everything that is wrong with AIM. |
Posted at 23/2/2023 20:53 by sipptrader88 Go West from Northern Ireland (UK)...and you hit Labrador, Newfoundland etc. which is full of gold.......Newfoundlhxxps://newfoundland and could this geology extend east to Northern Ireland...Mr. sipptrader88 asks? Northern Ireland holds the world’s seventh richest resource of gold, but political violence kept most investors away for decades. hxxps://pubs.geoscie .....and Mr. sipptrader88 believes that it does and that it is now commercially viable so to do ....wot wit modern mining methods and a "Putin satan missile" under the price of gold! lol. |
Posted at 22/2/2023 15:55 by sipptrader88 hxxps://audioboom.coDespite my negative feelings here I am going to trade it....I can see a least a 1X bagger! The podcast (above link) is probably what changed things for me..but I won't stay long! You probably already know I don't trust old Prof Conart...based on my over enthusiasm and loss of circa £100k here.....I suggest investors air on the side of caution....note the clever non -company specific words used in the comment...talking about the overall area etc. Professor Richard Conroy, Chairman, commented: “This new discovery is potentially a transformational event for gold exploration and development in this very large gold district. The presence of visible gold and the outstanding gold grades of up to 123g/t gold (4oz/t gold) in these initial samples are exceptional and, taken in conjunction with the Company’s other significant discoveries, indicate the potential for the district to become a Tier 1 gold area.“ ....Probably the reality is that it just has never been commercially viable to build a mine with old mining techniques and of course a gold price perhaps around £200 per troy oz. or less back then when CGR was our hold in the early 2000s....and now really only above £1,000 per troy oz. for the last three years or so........so yes I must admit a lot of these AIM ventures have potential.....unfort I've lost over £100k and we have raised and raised and consolidated and raised and raised etc. and Prof still gets his salary....at my expense. For those that are here yes best wishes....but I really feel we should be further ahead by now and talking company specific and not area potential and who knows.....it might be different if Prof Conway had JVd a long time ago before dilution to the extreme....my advice to me and you still stands...trade by all means...don't stay too long! |
Posted at 05/10/2022 08:02 by kaos3 you can not win stupidity (me) as it is infinitegreed and BS comes second (not BOD) honest investors come almost last - ask all CGNR investors over the years who were angry at my posts lol and are gone (silent) over and over again same dynamics happen what is above funny - the most stupid repetitive post is better than most in over 15 years and counting lol lol and what is interesting - people deny it lol lol |
Posted at 08/4/2022 09:18 by richgit Whatever some think/imply,nobody can simply deny that Demir`s interest here and investment is not worth a lot more than the Market currently values.Just, ask yourselves what reasons Demir has to believe that their Investment will pay them back in multiples. Unless of course some Posters think they are more intelligent Investors than Demir ............ Conroy Gold’s Path to Producer Status – A Valuation Reappraisal. Following the completion of Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (CGNR.L) JV agreement with Demir Export, and start later this month of a 3,000-metre drill programme under the new partnership, in this research note we examine the importance of this transformational deal and revise our valuation estimates. * The objective of the Demir JV will be to advance the Clontibret gold deposit and other gold discoveries to a ‘construction ready status’ and into operation as a mine. Turkish- owned mining company Demir has both the technical expertise, resources and financial clout to make such an objective become a reality. * A maiden 3,000-metre drilling programme under the new JV is set to commence later this month, which we believe could lead to results being announced in May/June. This is just the initial stage of what is projected to be an extensive exploration and development JV programme funded by Demir. * A primary goal of the JV is to expand upon what is known at Clontibret, which has a JORC resource of 0.5m ounces of gold defined. This is believed to represent only around 20% of the known deposit, with the resource open at both depth and in all directions. * Dalradian Gold’s world class 6m ounce plus gold deposit located nearby at Curraghinalt provides a reference point project for what could be achieved. At Curraghinalt, the deposit extends to a depth of 1,200 metres. In comparison, most of the exploration drilling at Clontibret has been at much shallower depths of less than 200 metres, with a maximum 350-metre depth. * The JV will also seek to bring other gold prospective targets such as Clay Lake, Glenish and Slieve Glah in the Longford-Down Massif district scale gold trend towards a ‘construction ready status’. * Three new licences were granted earlier this week to Conroy Gold, which will be included within the JV to give a total of 15 licences, encompassing almost 1,000 sq. km. * Conroy’s balance sheet was boosted last week, following the payment of €1m from Demir Export, as part of its first Phase agreement commitments, which will see at least €10m invested into the JV over phases 1 and 2. Recommendation & Valuation We have revised the valuation numbers from our Oct 2020 research note, which is based upon the Clontibret Scoping Study (2011) and potential exploration upside. This reflects higher projected long-term gold prices (US$1,850 per ounce) and a reduction in certain risk factors such as the ‘Development and Resources’ risk following Conroy’s link up with Demir. This computes to an estimated Group valuation of US$85.9m (prev. US$55.1m), representing a 56% improvement, giving a price per share of 168p (prev. 138p). As work under the JV partnership now begins in earnest and advances over the coming periods, there should be plenty of opportunities to substantially improve our estimates as the 2011 JORC is potentially enhanced to include a larger Clontibret deposit, and perhaps a resource definition achieved on other gold licence targets. The market has not understood the importance and ‘Company Maker’ deal Conroy Gold has secured with Demir Export and substantial de-risking impact this has upon the investment case. With a market cap of £12.6m, investors still seem to be pricing the shares as an early-stage exploration company, rather than a mid-stage entity, with an established path being set towards potential mine ‘construction ready status’. With these thoughts in mind, and near-term drilling results news-flow under the new JV anticipated in the coming months, we reiterate our ‘Buy’ recommendation with a 168p share price target. Posted at 03/2/2022 13:01 by enter The quality of investors here is great. They can't even be bothered to look at a few RNS releases. |
Posted at 16/1/2022 20:36 by lurker5 No miner has any 'intrisic' or 'fundamental' value until it has found and proved a resource which is economical to mine. Until then - in probably ten years time for Conroy - it is a speculation, with unpredictable and possibly unlimited appetite for investors' cash.Robemy for example shows his total ignorance of the sector. |
Posted at 04/1/2022 12:17 by nickk1 The JV remains conditional on the necessary regulatory consents being grantedin the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for the transfer of the licences to the respective joint venture companies that have been established under the JV. Perhaps this is putting investors off? No JV until two countries sign off! |
Posted at 11/12/2021 19:39 by diamond_mountain Syndon, the published Clontibret resource is half of that figure, and all the talk of 15-20M ounces is pie in the sky because it is not substantiated by any form of compliant technical report.Only on AIM it appears a company and its directors can circulate such overstated speculation in such a way that investors start to believe it as fact. In other markets reporting codes are enforced to protect investors, not here. That's not being negative, that's just an observation on what is happening. Seems people are relying on Demir's backing as validation of these projects, and anyone who questions the hype is denounced as a deramper and obviously not as smart as Demir and all their due diligence. But Demir's not like a listed company where you can see the track record, understand the financial success and the skills of the commercial and technical teams. Being owned by a rich family seems to be qualification enough for some people. Not everyone shares that level of trust in the unknown. The proposed JV values the project at €10M for 40%. CGNR are apparently giving away a massive amount of the pie if they truly believe in multimillion ounce potential (which it so happens they have left entirely undeveloped for years and years). This is a rescue for CGNR - without a deal they're in trouble, no doubt about it, just read the accounts. They get €1m in the bank when this deal closes, that won't last long and doesn't cover liabilities. Eyes open. |
