2016 – The Great Irish Share Valuation Project (Part IV):

Company: Connemara Mining Company (CON:LN)

Market Cap: GBP 1.1 M

Price: GBP 1.45p

Oh Lordy, Teeling companies always seem to come along in pairs…though the long-term CON price chart is far more abysmal! I suppose shareholders should be relieved my forecast of a 100% share price decline hasn’t happened – CON’s only fallen 70% since! Compared to diamond exploration in Botswana, I guess desultory gold & zinc exploration efforts in Ireland obviously aren’t as exciting. Again, Teeling’s hooked an impressive farm-out partner here – Teck – but has since ended up dependent on their indifferent mercy. Unfortunately, even though the annual cash burn here is low (due to the company’s farm-out policy), CON’s cash less net payables position already puts it in the hole:

EUR 495 K Cash – 545 K Net Payables – 281 K Cash Burn = Zero

Give me strength…again & again, worthless.

Price Target: Zero

Upside/(Downside): (100)%

I can bring up all the ramping comments from months ago.
That should spark some interest if there is nothing else.
As there maybe some truth in some of it. After all these guys got me suckered into this one, so they owe it to me to repeat their comments.

Obviously the red ticker has followed me from Churchill Mining. As I slam the door in their face everytime when they start to deramp Churchill.

Another one I have bought into this week is Central Rand. I am trying to stay with shares begining with C. As they tend to do the best.

Teeling has made continual reference to Dalradian and their high grade discovery.

todays RNS from Dalradian
Dalradian intersects 1.44 m of 100.66 g/t gold ..

And from CON on thursday "The discovery is similar to the Dalradian gold resource across the border in Co. Tyrone."

UK Regulatory (RNS & others).

Investment of GBP100,000 in cash to acquire 5,000,000 Connemara Mining shares at 2p;

-- Metal Tiger to receive one warrant at 5p for each Connemara Mining share purchased at 2p in the placing (being 5,000,000 warrants in total), with a warrant life of 24 months;

-- Following completion of the above Metal Tiger will own 5,000,000 shares representing 6.6% of Connemara Mining's issued share capital.

Terry Grammer, Chairman of Metal Tiger commented "this strategic investment in Connemara Mining demonstrates Metal Tiger's interest in natural resource exploration in Ireland and complements the investment made in Conroy Gold and Natural Resources recently.

We are pleased to see the commitment of Connemara Mining to utilise the funds raised to continue drilling in Donegal and look forward to the results from the drilling programme in due course.

Metal Tiger is keen to undertake and support further investment in Irish exploration through its Asset Trading and Metal Projects divisions and further work is being undertaken to achieve this objective. As and when further transactions are finalised we will notify the market accordingly."

Paul Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Metal Tiger holds shares in Connemara Mining and therefore excluded himself from the decision to proceed with this strategic investment.

The gold price has gone berserk and this one will more than double soon enough, IMHO.

Do not forget the huge stake building that went on yesterday, and also the 950K buy from a few months back. Followed by many more huge buys.

This must be for a reason and any day now we could wake up to a magic RNS that could take us to over 200%+. IMHO.

Frustrating I agree but from an activist investors point of view, by which I mean MTR, with an eye to making changes and some success in doing so, it's perfect. Assets with potential but insufficient funds and/or management nous to exploit them. Wish they'd get on with it though.
