16/5/2016 12:57 | Read Northland Capital Partners's note on CONNEMARA MINING COMPANY PLC (CON), out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research "Connemara Mining Company has raised £400,200 (gross) through the placing of 20,010,000 shares at 2p per share, with a one-for-one warrant at 5p per share. The placing represents 26.4% of the Company’s issued share capital. Following the placing the Company will have 75,789,711 shares in issue. Connemara Mining Company will use the proceeds from this placing to undertake the next phase of drilling at its gold projects located in Donegal. The Company plans to commence drilling in the coming weeks..." | thomasthetank1
16/5/2016 09:09 | It's certainly positive that the funding is out of the way - knowing that a raising is imminent puts plenty of people off. Although this company is still highly speculative, it does have some good well results under its belt and I assess the risk as medium to high. However the market cap still suggests it's an out and out punt, which it isn't any more. I like to weigh the risk/return and these situations. Let's conservatively say there's a 25% chance of commerciality. If this pays off, the shares would probably ten bag at least. If drilling does not suggest a commercial resource, there's maybe a 50% drop coming. These numbers are all on the pessimistic side and yet the case for investing is still very strong. 75% x 0.5 = 0.375 25% x 10 = 2.500 So "fair" price = 2.5 + 0.375 = 2.875 times the present price. Just my own rule of thumb based on a subjective assessment. DYOR but in my book this makes for CON to be a clearcut buy at these levels. | hiddendepths
16/5/2016 08:36 | this is a quality play. CON have established high grade mineralisation. now its about building on the confidence of the resource take a look at what happened to LND. MTR recognise where they will see a 10/20 fold increase in grossly undervalued stocks that have quality assets with blue sky potential | xcap
