Will this mean tax payers will save money in the future ?

Connaught seemed to live off tax payers .

teh_counsellor,

I'm not sure that people here are going to be talking your 'sympathy' on board.

Especially as you've gone out of your way to 'explain' the way in which government apparently runs the banks it has large stakes in.

You really do know nothing about banking. At all.

If you couldn't see this coming weeks ago, then treat it as a lesson, bad luck to all, but you were warned.

I did think there was a chance that the govt via RBS/others might ensure that CNT got the funds it needed, but then again, the mess may have been too bad

What throw more tax payers money down the drain ?

Bad luck folks.

Hopefully all that invested here recently knew the risks of suspension were high.

Very sad for long term holders

Why is Royal Bank of Scotland and HBOS always mentioned when there is BAD DEBTS ?

Was Goodwin the Last King of Scotland all financed by his "GOD" Brown ?

Not holding myself as too risky, but surely these guys are too big to go down...10,000 employees on the dole...all those contracts left open...a late rescue must be an option?

This should have been suspended at the last profit warning. A completely false market has been allowed in the last 4 weeks - disgraceful!
